Stayed here one night. Travelling with a dog and as they are a pet friendly motel, we were warmly welcomed. The room was clean.

We had 1night here. Okay room was old But clean. Our beds were really comfortable and lovely clean bedding. It had everything in there for what we need for the night.||Manager couldn’t do enough for us. It was the cheapest accommodation we had in 7 weeks of travelling. If we ever came back to Bourke we would stay here .||Remember most of the places around Bourke are old. ||Close to the pub and shops if that’s what you want.

A small (14 rooms) motel in the heart of Bourke. Compared to the other options in Bourke this is very reasonably priced. Within easy walking distance of eating establishments and a supermarket around the corner it is well situated in the town. Some of the décor is a bit dated but everything was clean and implements (microwave, Jug, air con) worked. We had a very quiet night with no extraneous noise from any traffic or other occupants. Would recommend this place if you are not too fussed about up to date décor.

Staying in Bourke N S W can be a bit hit and miss but deciding to turn down a side street was a good move for us on the home ward bound 3 week return trip from Townsville to Griffith for a Family Reunion. We found Mark to be the ultimate Host and a Goldmine of Local Information despite only having recently taken ownership of the Motel. With his Wife Daneli's sutble touch they have cleaned up and inducted a real welcoming feel into all of the surroundings. The rooms are small but very, very clean, comfortable with tea, coffee supplied so you can either fend for yourself for Dinner that night or go out as we did. We did not ask about meals at the Motel as we are used to doing our own thing but I'm sure something could be arranged with the owners if asked. The Bourke Bowling Club is only a couple of streets away and has a scrumptious Chinese Resturant upstairs well worth trying.||The Motel has a great Aussie way of paying for sweets from the Fridge, a Honesty Jar which speaks volumes for the honesty of country travelers as if this practice was adopted in City Motels there would be no sweets or honesty jar left intact.||These people are just your typical honest, hard working Aussies who by hard yakka have brought an aged property to be shown at it's almost full glory.||For a safe, friendly, affordabull overnight stay for your next trip out Western N SW. this Motel is ideal, we'll be back again for shore.

Found this pleasant hotel by accident but glad I did. The hosts are very friendly and full of information and advice. The rooms are a good size, although the bathroom is quite small (and old). The bed was reasonably comfortable (firm) and i had a great nights sleep with no road noise. The hotel is off the main road (just) but walking distance to everything you need (supermarket/restaurants)

I was on a 10 day road trip & the first thing I did when arriving in a town was to drive around & check out the motels.||||I stumbled across the Outback Motel & it was the sort of place that had an instant "welcome", unlike the other establishments in town. The owner was a very interesting & friendly guy & was proud of his achievements since taking over the motel 12 months ago.||||Tariff was on par with other places I had been staying in ($80-$100) but it had more character so I received more for less.||||It's an older place but very clean & tidy...the bed was very comfortable & the room had all that was needed...microwave, toaster, telly, crockery & cutlery. The fridge had some cans of soft drink & an assortment of chocolate bars with an honesty glass for payment...I found that pretty neat.||||Not that I was travelling with pets but have been a pet owner, it was great to see the motel was pet friendly. Having a beverage in the maintained garden with BBQ & outdoor furniture around the tree & old steam engine & the chirping birds was a great treat after a long drive.||||A very short walk around the corner led to the pubs & eateries.||||Thoroughly recommended & would head straight there if I am ever passing through Bourke again.

We (the missus and I) stayed at this motel on 28/10/16. Small, neat, tidy and most importantly clean. Bets of all, very cost effective. The owners Mark and Steph were very helpful. Me on crutches, and them most helpful. Eatery just around the corner, and breakfast a few more steps around the corner. This is not a 5 star motel, however, the owners of 5 star motels could take a few lessons form these owner / operators, and how the motel is run. If we are ever back in Bourke, this where will try and stay. It is a busy motel, and that in itself says a lot. Try it, I reckon you will like it.

These very basic small budget type rooms, in there present state should never exceed $100 per night. Very small room, doors that won,t shut, noisy air con. No way to safely open windows to access fresh air.||Frosty reception at check-in, bordering on rude when questioning price.
