Hubby, myself and a friend came up for a Friday lunch recently. It is such a lovely spot with a big garden, and not noisy considering it's on the main run into town. We sat inside tho as it was a wet day. Hubby ate a beef burger; I had calamari and chips, and the friend had a steak sandwich. The friend said her sandwich was great, the meat tender, and the chips were tasty - crispy outside and tender inside. My calamari was a bit disappointing (it had quite a few baby? octopus rather than calamari) but it was okay. Very generous serve and I actually took away a doggie bag! Hubby enjoyed his burger - a good amount of sauce, everything fresh. Chips were amazing, said he! We drank ginger beer, and cappuccino. All fine. Service was friendly and prompt. A pleasant stop-off on our way further west.

Very nice outside seating area, staff friendly, excellent service! We had Breakfast Burger and Potato hash, portion size is not huge and the coffee was really good!

Previous visits have been very good but today's wasn't great unfortunately.
Wrong orders brought out for both food and coffee. One person didn't get their meal - we had to ask. Some menu items unavailable.

A lovely place. Truly. Well located and just beautiful - lovely old buildings, trees dressed in lights, flowers everywhere.
The staff were great. The coffee was great. My potato hash? Alas! It looked so beautiful. But it was bland, flavorless, without spark or sparkle. I wanted anything else in my mouth when it was in my mouth. But it looked lovely. Against the flowers it made for a beautiful morning.
Coffee was good. My kids enjoyed their pancakes. Overhead, birds flew by and alighted on brown crackling branches

We came to The Other Bird for lunch with some of our family. The meals were reasonably priced and came very quickly after we ordered. The steak sandwich was very tasty and my wife said there was a nice variety of ingredients in her salad. My brother in law had the chicken pizza and my nephew has the Karage Tacos. My nephew was still hungry after the tacos and thought it was more an appetiser size rather than a main. Overall, it was a good place for lunch.

Really nice cafe surrounded by beautiful shaded gardens. Menu is extensive & offers varied price points. Service is attentive but not overwhelming...zero steps makes it perfect for those experiencing mobility issues.

I dined here several times whilst visiting Toowoomba for a training course. The staff were absolutely delightful and the food absolutely incredible. Quiet garden setting and heaters for the cooler days. Highly recommend, it won't disappoint. Coffee is wonderful too!

Great coffee in this hipster bistro, probably the best we had in four days in Toowoomba . Staff were helpful and efficient. QR ordering was a fail as a vegetarian, but it’s new so working out the kinks. Went retro and spoke to a person . My husband had oatcakes which looked great but he wished there was a little more fruit . I had eggs Benny with halloumi and tomato as added paid extras . (Egg whites underneath were a little wobbly my pet peeve) . Big thumbs up for the outdoor setting and bathrooms which were very disabled/walker friendly. A few previous reviews mentioned the high cost - Sydney prices to me.
