Never in my life have I had an experience as special as this. Alan may as well be known as Alfred from the Batman with his exceptional personal assistance he offers. What an incredible building that has been restored to give such a unique experience. The food was incredible, the location amazing and the service well and truely an 11/10. I booked one night as a place to stay travelling down the east coast. Well next time I head this way I will definitely be making a stop in. Thank you so much to the most awesome couple who make this place happen. Couldn’t be more grateful. Would highly recommend 🙂

This is a beautiful cafe, run by absolute salt of the earth people, with peaceful river views and euro style gardens. The place has been converted from the old bank and the original architecture has been maintained - if you're looking for a country town breakfast then you can't do better in the area. Also the food is beautifully done.

Surprise birthday lunch with friends! Magnificent food, excellent service, nothing a problem, Tania and Alan are beautiful people who have created an exceptional place we were so lucky to have shared our long lunch on their deck looking out to the river through the garden. Highly recommend ?

I'd really rather The Old Bank remained a secret. Our Friday lunch last week was just superb. The food was great and it's a very relaxed atmosphere, either under the verandah or out by the river. Alan and Tania are delightful and welcoming hosts. This was our second visit and certainly won't be our last.

Had a great 2 night stay with the very accommodating hosts Alan and Tania. They especially went above and beyond with catering to my extremely limiting allergies. Room was beautiful, firm and comfy mattress, quiet for sleeping in and close to lots of beautiful national parks, beaches and hikes.

I stayed at this beautiful place last year and at that time I was the only guest there. Alan and Tania were very kind to me, Tania always made excellent vegan food and treated me very well, even Alan drove me to the meeting location with his car ?. The house is also very nice and well maintained, they always keep the house in good condition. Also, I can't forget Puskha, the friendliest and most adorable cat that always accompanied my day there. It was a very pleasure to stay and taste the food here. ✨✨

What a joy to find this treasure. The warmest of welcomes and the sights and scents of spring at every turn. Accommodation with country hospitality of a bygone era. Grace and style seldom experienced. An elegant breakfast to remember with fresh flowers from the lovingly tended garden adorning tables bedrooms and hallways. Unforgettable.

Fantastic food and perfect coffee a beautiful room with a very comfortable room with an en-suite with a shower with tons of hot water!
A lovely place to stay right on the banks of a river. It’s every thing you need for an enjoyable stay.
