This has become our happy place. From the stunning onsite restaurant with food to die for to the beautiful rooms. The stunning views, the lights around the gardens at night. The pool side cabanas and the fire pits. All the little touches in the rooms, the blankets on the outdoor chairs overlooking the mountains, the beautiful teas and pottery mugs, the extra outdoor shower and deep beautiful bath. The incredible comfortable beds, linen robes, all the decor throughout the whole resort. We couldn’t love this place more. It has now become our favourite place to escape.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Oaks Ranch. Recommend booking one of the rooms overlooking the golf course. The beds are very comfortable and the room has everything you need. We loved spending our day by the pool and being looked after by the lovely staff. It is well known that the restaurant is amazing, but don’t sleep on the secret room service menu. The club sandwich and cheeseburger made us very happy. Free use of the golf course and carts was also such a nice morning activity. Book it!

The food here is high quality, fresh and delicious. I would recommend going to The Oaks with friends. If you would like to visit with family, older kids would be more suited to the atmosphere. Great view and overall cosy yet sophisticated vibe, with tasteful architecture and manicured gardens.

What a place to be at!
We stopped in to have lunch with the family and take in the views and it surely was worth the trip because the place was amazing!

Charlotte was our waitress and she was very attentive and answered all our questions because the menu was stuff we weren't used to getting. But the food was amazing! You will not be disappointed.

Visited Oaks Ranch for dinner with my wife as a wind down from the hectic family Christmas. A couple of chilled hours dining outside, over looking the pool. Food was excellent. I don’t mind people making a bit on drinks but a glass of bubbles for $20 and the bottle retails for $19! Outside of that irritant, well worth a visit - the food is superb.

The Oaks Ranch is one of our favourite places to stay, recharge and connect. We always ensure we book Arlo restaurant - beautiful food and never ever disappoints. Some of our favourites are the Tommy's Margarita and Negroni for drinks, the Haloumi is YUM, if you eat steak, treat yourself to the 1kg with a side of greens and for dessert, the basque cheesecake is a must. ||We are fortunate enough to stay with a breakfast package and it is just as tasty as dinner (my personal favourite is the Spanish eggs).||It is a serene, peaceful location and Josh and the staff are always friendly, efficient and welcoming. The sunsets are breathtaking (as is the pool in winter when we did our polar plunge!) all year around and being surrounded by nature, the golf course, kangaroos, birds and our favourite 2 rescue donkeys is the perfect recalibration and place we choose to celebrate our birthdays now.||If you're after a special weekend away or even just a meal if in the area, do yourself a favour and book The Oaks Ranch / Arlo.

Our experience here was, unfortunately, disappointing. Most of the dishes were excessively salted, making them far too salty to enjoy. Additionally, we felt the food was overpriced, with the quality and presentation falling short of the cost.

The mains we ordered were described as kingfish but were actually blue cod. While the mix-up in fish type wasn’t a major issue, the fish itself was severely overcooked, over-salted, and ended up being extremely dry and unpalatable.

Although the wait staff were friendly, they were not attentive when it came to refilling our water—something we needed desperately given how salty the meals were. A simple solution, like leaving a jug of water on each table, would have rectified this issue.

The venue’s setting and renovations were lovely, but sadly, these positives aren’t enough to persuade us to return.

Excellent dinner with a stunning view and lovely service. ||Can’t rate this restaurant highly enough…truly a gem at the coast. Foodie-level quality! ||And the kangaroos along the golf course and landscapes makes it even more special. We’ll be back!
