I ordered NC burger without onion, Pinot jam, pickles and burger sauce. To add some tomato sauce it cost an extra $1.50.
The burger was over cooked and the bottle of sauce I paid for was slopped all over everything else. Was handy to dip my 8 chips in. Was a 6 serviette meal. Appalling

I ordered a pint of Asahi but was served a glass clearly marked 400ml — not a pint (which should be 570ml). When I politely pointed this out, the lady behind the bar (an older woman with glasses) became defensive and started raising her voice at us. I wasn’t trying to argue, just letting her know — as someone who also works in hospitality (bartender), I know what a proper pint should be.

The interaction was unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable, especially in a place that serves travelers who deserve a calm experience. I hope management addresses this, as customer service really matters — especially in a hospitality setting like an airport.

When I queried why I was paying for a pint of beer but only getting 400ml in an Asahi glass I was dismissed. The Filipino one was very rude, I was nearly drawing her attention to the fact that the glass was only 400 mil and not a pint ! She needs to get some manners perhaps put her in the back washing dishes. She shouldn’t be serving customers.

All the reviews speak for themselves - don’t order food here! We had a flight that had us at the airport over dinner time.

The Prosecco came in glasses that had lipstick on the rim 🤢 when I returned it, he just poured the original liquid into a fresh glass…no I’m sorry here is a fresh clean serving! tables and chairs are filthy.

The calamari is deep fried crap which was chewy/inedible and the steak sandwich was sloppy. Tasted ok but the meat was chewy. The chips were good. Such a bargain at $70!! It did arrive quickly…..

Avoid this place at all costs. Do not recommend.

The eggs Royale was delivered to the table without salmon despite the menu saying it came with. When sent back and requested that the salmon be added the waitress didn't say a single word and just shouted my name from the bar when it was ready - not the service you expect for $70 for 2 meals and 2 coffees. Once it was quieter she was very lovely when clearing the plates. I think the other reviews saying more staff are needed are very accurate

The food was bland and for most part overcooked.

The hot chocolate was advertised as starting at $5.5 but actually started at $6.9. The mocha was very nice and well done

I hope management takes this as an opportunity to look at their posters and hire more

Had the beef burger at Northern Common and it was absolutely amazing! The patty was juicy and packed with flavour, cooked just right. Service was quick and friendly, and the chips were fresh, crispy, and cooked in clean oil. Couldn’t fault it—highly recommend!

We arrived at the airport feeling a tad peckish. Northern Common seemed like a reasonable choice to eat. It wasn't :(..

After an extended wait for our loaded fries (greater than 30mins) what arrived was an amorphous mass of potato, bacon and cheddar cheese baked solid and needing a chisel and mallet to separate. This was topped off with a jug of tasteless congealed gravy. Save your money and visit Red Rooster.

They are just opening the Rollds next to Northern Common bar. It is all about the Vietnamese foods. Tried to order Pho, which I would like to as a Vietnamese. Paid 20$ for Chicken Pho. Worth the price comparing with Casuarina shopping center. Of course, the taste cant be as Original Vietnamese but similar 85-90%. Recommended and its great option for Asian when be at airport .
