We’ve just checked out from The Nest. The outdoor spa was lovely—easy to use and a relaxing way to unwind. The place itself was clean, and as we walked in, it felt bright and full of natural light with a beautiful view.

The breakfast for the first day was a nice gesture—simple but appreciated. I have dietary requirements, so my husband enjoyed the chocolate instead. The kitchenette is suitable for basic use if you’re not planning to cook much.

One thing that could be improved is the communication. We received the check-in instructions quite late, which made it difficult to plan ahead. Ideally, this should be sent at least the night before or several hours earlier.

The main letdown was the towel policy. We requested a fresh set after ours were damp from daily showers (even with the heated rail), but were told we had to use the same ones for the full 3-night stay😇. For a property that describes itself as 5-star, this felt unnecessarily rigid. A small gesture like that goes a long way in hospitality....v rigid management

There isn’t much else to do on the property besides the spa—some added features like animals or nature-based interaction would make the stay more engaging.

Overall, I’d give it 3 stars. It’s a peaceful spot for 1 or 2 nights if you’re looking to relax, but the service and flexibility could be improved to match the premium label

Wow! Amazing romantic getaway. The room was welcoming, clean and cosy. The spa added a great restful escape from our busy lives. The host was there to greet us with kindness and was very friendly. Thank you for making my birthday weekend so special

We spent a couple of nights at The Nest and were just amazed at the level of detail and thought the has gone into making the Pods as welcoming and as comfortable as possible. The breakfast provided and the ingredients for the charcuterie board were delicious and plentiful. The peacefulness and view from the spa on the deck was amazing.
We will definitely be coming back in the future!

My partner and I stayed at the nest this weekend just gone and had the most romantic and peaceful time in our little pod! We spent 90% of our time in our spa or looking over the gorgeous views without even getting out of the most comfortable king bed! The place was clean, welcoming, comfy and well thought out. Thank-you so very to Angela and Nash for the beautiful welcome hamper of breakfast and treats and of course for your amazing hospitality, answering any and all queries and for your kindness too 🙂 will definitely be back again soon!

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at The Nest- communication and booking process was great, the location and view were both amazing, and the spa was wonderful. It was so peaceful and we didn't see or hear any other guests while we were there, even though other people staying. It led us to feel as though we were in this little piece of paradise all on our own, it was so private. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day 🙂

My partner and I just celebrated our anniversary at the nest, and it was an amazing experience! Our pod was so cozy and welcoming. The spa was awesome, we spent both nights in there relaxing which was great with the freezing cold and hurricane - like winds. We had everything we needed, plenty of blankets, towels, complimentary food - the bread and the jams were sooo yummy. The only downfall we can pick on was the wifi not being strong enough in our pod, neither our phones or the smart tv in the room would connect and we had to hotspot throughout our stay. But otherwise, we had all the entertainment apps on the tv, we brought our own lego sets and we had a blast! Was definitely a relaxing and great way for us to spend some nice quality time together. Thankyou for helping us make our anniversary special @thenest! ❤️

My partner and I booked The Nest for our 16th anniversary which was very special for us. We work extremely long hours and for us to take a weekend off is extremely rear.
I did my research and read all the reviews and felt very confident booking one of the pods for our romantic getaway.
Communication was good and we were greeted by Angela who was lovely.
Unfortunately that is where the excitement stopped for us. We were expecting high end 5 star luxury.
The walls were all patchy with different colour paints and Angela did apologise for one wall but looking around all the walls were like this.
The cleaning was not brilliant as the sliding door tracks were filthy and cobwebs in the bathroom and out on the deck.
Only one comfy chair so the other person had to sit on the bed or on a dining chair.
The spa is not comfortable for the second person
Really need block out blinds as there are windows above the bed with know blinds which wake you up the moment rises.
The fridge is really loud at night as well as branches scraping on the outside wall when it was windy.
Just needs a little bit more in our opinion to bring it up to the level as advertised.
