We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning villa! From beginning to end, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views that made each morning feel magical. The design and decor are flawless, combining comfort and elegance perfectly. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the cozy log burner indoors to the fire pit outside, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxed evenings.

David was an exceptional host, communicating well and going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. His efforts truly made our experience memorable.

The villa’s amenities were exceptional. We appreciated the filtered water tap, and the outdoor bath and sauna provided unique, luxurious ways to unwind. The beds were incredibly comfortable, giving us the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a long time, and the peaceful, quiet surroundings were blissful. We even took advantage of the nearby lake for kayaking, which made for a wonderful adventure.

The Moorings Lakehouse is an absolutely stunning spot, truly a piece of paradise. The scenery is breathtaking, and the service is exceptional. We celebrated our wedding here and enjoyed our stay in the Lakefront suite, where the staff was incredibly supportive and communicated effectively. The suite itself was beautiful and impeccably clean.

Very beautiful serene location by the lake; Perfect for a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle. loved sauna next to lake, jetty, outdoor bath tub, chickens, and organic garden (kids enjoyed picking some salad leaves). Charming, rustic cabin was perfect for my family.

Located right on the water with a very safe jetty. Outdoor spa to die for and so many seating, eating and outdoor entertainment option's. Outdoor fire pits located everywhere to enjoy of an evening. Accommodation very high end. Top quality furnishings and very well equipped kitchens in each villa. Bed's so comfortable that you could spend your whole stay in them.
Highly recommend this property to anyone and will definitely return again.

Property manager David very helpful and always on call if any problems arise.

Definitely a top quality location with high end facilities.

My family and I stayed at The Moorings Lakhouse. Nothing short of AMAZING. Magnificent place. The property was warm, cosy, clean and fresh. The organic vegetable garden is divine. We picked and made the most delicious salad we’ve had in a long time. The private jetty was cool and the sauna is GREAT! The outdoor bath to relax in nature then down to the sauna, it was very refreshing and relaxing. Also pretty private. The chickens were friendly and the kids highlight was going to find eggs! Fruit picking was fun with the kids too and the fruit is delicious. There was a friendly dog named Lily and some cows and horses at the front of the property we seen a few times too the kids had an absolutely wonderful time as did us adults. So many wonderful memories. Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back. Also worthy of a good review is David. Before I booked I had some questions and he was pleasant and prompt to respond. He made sure we were settled in and was there for anything we needed. Wonderful property, wonderful people. You will not be disappointed to stay here. Highly recommend!!! 10/10 5 Star ⭐️ Magnificent!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the moorings lakehouse. Such a stunning place. Rooms were very clean & thoughtfully decorated. We went with our infant & had no issue. Bed were very comfortable too. They even supplied us with a portacot without having to request for one which we really appreciate. Overall a five star from us. Will definitely be returning.
