Perfect location. Very well priced. An older building and not a flash new unit but that suits us more and if we wanted that we could pay a lot more and stay at a new place. The facilities are all great. A short walk to the beach so perfect for a morning swim and all the restaurants just downstairs. Will definitely stay here again!!

The Meriton is in a great location very close to Tedder Ave Main Beach.
The Entrance Foyer ,grounds and pools look great but we did not use them.
The cost for the accommodation was very reasonable.
The accommodation not so great though it was clean with comfortable beds.
We walked in the door and the apartment smelt STRONGLY of bleach. We had to open all doors and windows to try and clear the air.
The cutlery and glasses were miss matched like they were from an Op Shop.
And the Microwave was well rusted.
The two old blue Chairs were dirty and uncomfortable.
The BBQ on the Balcony was rusted out and totally against all health regulations as was the chair beside the BBQ with the seat totally fallen in!
Bathrooms were ok and clean except that the ensuite toilet seat was not properly attached and you slipped and moved when seated.

Geting old and needs newer refreshing items. Not all the odds & old. The smell of chlorine in the bathroom was over bearing. The BBQ is a danger to national health. Clean linen and comfortable beds. Plenty of kitchen wear. Minimal air-conditioning. So convenient to tedder & transport & beach.

We recently spent 5 nights at the Meriton on Main Beach and cannot fault this holiday stay.
We are "Golden Oldies" in our mid eighties and sometimes need assistance and this was readily available from Leo in management..

We found the unit just right for us - it was recently renovated and really comfortable with great views of the river etc.

There were many restaurants to choose nearby which we also enjoyed. Hot Shott opposite was a favourite for lunches, and certainly not too far to walk to!!

Just the place for a quiet break and relaxing time together - we shall definitely return!!!!

Can certainly recommend the Meriton on Main Beach if you are either after a busy holiday or a quiet relaxing stay - you choose!!!

Very poor quality room, definitely not a 4 star, very dirty inside, had a Sudafed bottle left under the apparent fresh made bed… no remote for fan in the bedroom , I must say that the floor manager was quick to get that fixed, the unit itself was very poor and dirty inside, damaged bathroom doors, very disappointing & definitely will not be staying there again
I wish I could put the pics on here that I have taken of the poor quality

I have mixed feelings. On the positive side I liked the jezuci but it was a bit cold. But the sauna made for it as I almost passed out in it. The negative aspects are that firstly my friend has issues with the shower: while he was enjoying a pleasant shower, the water suddenly turned freezing, causing him a cramp in his posterior backside. He then had to reduce the water pressure to make it warm but it burned his backside off. Then, he noticed that the toilet seat was unstable, making him unable to adequately direct his feces into the toilet bowl. My other friend has complaints about the water system, which he finds unstable. According to him:"the toilet ring keeps moving, why? Why not all the same size ? It make sound like booong? It was very scary."
Also I almost froze to death while sleeping while my other friend found it too hot and had to turn on the fan. Due to this my other friend had a headache the whole day.
I think that the jezuci closes too early. My female friend has no opinion on this place.
Overall, it is a good place, especially to welcome refugees. But the temperature issues have to be fixed, because after having crossed many oceans and the Mediterranean seas, the refugees should not have traumatic hypothermia flashbacks when going into the jezuci.

Well-appointed with indoor and outdoor swimming, including gym and spa. Perfect location to everything with basement parking. Leisurely stroll to the tram ride into the hustle and bustle. Casual walk down to the beach. Was great. I recommend it if you want to stay away from the crowds yet enjoy nearby fine dining, and of course the beach.

Our family spent 10 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment on level 11. The space was clean, spacious & tastefully decorated. The view was to die for. Booking in was no fuss. The location is central to everything we wanted to do on our holiday trip, like shopping, the theme parks and Zero Latency. We will definitely be return visitors. Perfect accommodation.
