Lovely 1.5 hours drive from Albany to taste the freshest marrons.
2kg butterflied marrons pan fried perfectly with the garlic butter, served together with a board of scrumptious side dishes
The images say it all!!!
Friendly and welcoming service, clean, and spacious.
Some merchandise at the front of the shop wished they had a hat/cap.

What an absolute gem of a cafe/restaurant on the south coast hwy, just out of peaceful bay. Food was delicious, plenty of other options if you don’t want Marron. Couldn’t fault the food or service and the location is beautiful. Dog friendly is always a plus and we will be back! Sharon, Kris & Riley

Deb was most accommodating as our arrival time kept changing during our drive from Perth to Bow Bridge. we were introduced to the various sizes and types (blue n black) of live marron and their breeding habitat and threats to the fledgling from predators.
The (boiled) Marron platter was tender and juicy and was allowed to have 2 pcs of marron cooked seperately in the sage burnt butter. Sage leaves crisply fried in butter, remained crisp right till the end of meal, added an earthy aromatic fragrance to the shell fish. Garden salad came with chopped nuts laced with fennel cumin, which also provided a texturural twist to dip the sweet n juicy pieces of tender marron tails into. Sourdough rolls were crusty and served with rich locally sourced butter. A most delightful meal in an expansive country setting. Well done and keep up the brilliant food and service quality.

Delicious coffee in a beautiful setting! We were lucky to meet the lovely owner who ads to the charm of the place! If your heading from Walpole towards Albany, I would definitely recommend grabbing your morning coffee here rather than Walpole and take in the beautiful scenery 🙂

I can’t contain my excitement about our visit today! I’m not sure if it was the amazing artist Marilyn who served us or another equally wonderful lady, but she was absolutely delightful and showered us with attention. And get this—we received a fresh zucchini straight from her garden to take home! The ambiance was so cozy, adorned with breathtaking artwork that added to the charm. The bacon was unbelievably juicy, and that crepe? It was a flavor explosion! I can’t recommend this place enough! Oh, how I wish I could stay longer just to indulge in the marrons, but sadly, it’s time to head home. What a fantastic experience!
