Stopped her for a quick drink and ended up playing the dart machine. The venue is clean, staff are friendly. The menu looked tasty in the Bistro. I noticed that they also had a courtesy bus too “Boon Bus”. Will come back to try the food.

The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. We ordered fish and chips for lunch, and it was delicious! They have two pricing options, so make sure to clarify if you want the lunch special (one piece of fish) or the à la carte option, which is available for both lunch and dinner (two pieces of fish). The barramundi was fresh, with a light, crispy batter—absolutely mouthwatering. Next time, I’ll definitely order the same!

Sunday roast
We had a delicious Sunday roast at this busy pub. The roast pork and the vegetables were extremely well-cooked and presented - no soggy peas or greens and lukewarm roast vegetables in sight. The pork was super tender and the apple sauce was delicious. The staff were super helpful and friendly too! Great value for money!!

What food they did have was cooked perfectly, waitress didn't understand anything we ordered even know we said 3 time's. T bone nice but apparently salmon was a very fishy taste veggies were also great

I cam here for lunch, it was towards the end of the lunch sitting, i ordered a eye fillet steak. I ordered blue. It was cooked nicely, i also ordered the prawns ontop. They where a little undercook which i quiet like that way there not to chewy. The steak was a little over cooked for my blue. However inknow doing a blue steak is not easy, the veggies where cooked to perfection a crunk a little on the under cooked which in my view is way better then over cooked. The mash was a little dry, Its more on the pricey side. I did watch the cheef take out the smokey meet from the bbq, bext time ill try that! The gaming rooms pays out. This is a quiey pub during lunch times cant wait to go back

The kids playground was so fun, but a light would be helpful so they can play a bit later.
Food was delicious, highly recommend the smoked meat platter. And the staff were so professional and friendly. Really great service. Next time we’re in Emerald, we will be back!

I don't usually write these but this is an exception

Stopped into Emerald 14/12/24 after a long trip of driving from the West and decided The Maraboon Tavern would be the dinner choice for the night

Greeted by a Male at reception (Tattoo's down his arm) was one of the most pleasant experiences dining out , he gave us a run threw of what was available, The kids area for our son , Told us there would be a little bit of a wait due to how busy it was then seated us and pointed us towards the bar

The atmosphere was great , We ordered the pork belly bites as a starter , They were incredible, Then for mains I ordered the Beef Rib and the wife got the Beef Cheeks

We both agreed that it was potentially the most incredible pub Feed we had ever had, The beef cheeks you could cut with a spoon and the sauce to die for and the beef rib had the perfect amount of smoke and spices

With the quality of the food , The bar staff and the incredible service from the gentleman at reception I will ensure I stop at this place everytime I'm in Emerald

The pork ribs are a big disappointment, especially for $48. Everything else on your menu is delicious, but far from satisfied with the pork ribs. Still four stars as I enjoy all the other aspects of The Maraboon.
