Great venue, great staff, and gorgeous little town house rooms.

The grounds are well kept, spacious and magical, the perfect wedding or anniversary spot, the rooms were well maintained and affordable.

We had a kitchenette, and a balcony, with spa bath that worked exceptionally well.

The alfresco dining area, and function room are picturesque and elegant, with a hint of nature all around.

What a beautiful venue for a wedding, I attended yesterday. Staff very friendly and food was exceptional. The only problem I found, as we stayed there overnight. Lovely clean rooms. Large choice of breakfast you can make in your rooms. I slept on the sofa bed and it's definitely needs another mattress or bed topper as the bars, dig into you and made it very uncomfortable to sleep Definitely recommend 100%, anyone looking for a hidden gem this is the place.🙂🙂

My husband and I recently got married at The Manor.
We stayed in the accommodation for 2 nights, the rooms provided were lovely and accommodating. We had children of all ages with us and they provided baby gates, cots and one room with no stairs. Most rooms had baths 🙂
Naomi and Darnell provided quality and excellent service. They are very approachable and helped us when needed.
The food was stunning and the venue itself was beautiful and breathtaking.
We couldn’t of picked another venue after seeing The Manor in real life and we will 100% be back for our anniversary 🥰

My daughter married on Saturday at the Manor. The Venue itself is spectacular. The gardens for the ceremony was pictureous, pre dinner drinks and starters on the Terrace and finally, the main dining room are beautiful. The service was of the highest standard,the quality and food portions were excellent. The assistance given for the whole event the Manor Team was outstanding.

From the moment we first visited Manor Basket Range, we knew it was the one. I remember turning to my partner and saying, "I don’t think we need to look anywhere else –We found it!" The location is absolutely breathtaking, and it set the perfect scene for our wedding day.

The entire planning process was seamless - communication was easy, and the team was incredibly accommodating, making adjustments to fit our needs without any hassle. On the day, the staff went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. A special shoutout to the manager, who personally cooked us a meal when we got back to our rooms after a full day of celebrating (because let’s be honest, no bride and groom ever remembers to eat!).

Packing up was just as smooth, making the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. We genuinely hope the team had as much fun as we did because they truly made our day unforgettable. Thank you, Manor Basket Range, for everything!

We could not have been more impressed with this stay. A completely seamless Check in and check out experience with plenty of complimentary pillows and a large selection of breakfast options. Very quiet as well.

My husband and myself had a really lovely stay at The Manor at Basket Range. Rooms were clean with plenty of space.
The grounds were just stunning, very well maintained.
We would’ve liked to see the main building to be lit up at night, that would’ve been a nice.
One thing that would have made it better would be having a restaurant on site but we found a pub at Uraidla less than 5 mins away which was nice.
The provisions left for a continental breakfast were definitely worth having. Nice bonus. All in all we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to people wanting a nice quiet stay.

As a professional marriage celebrant based in SA for over 13 years I absolutely adore performing beautiful wedding ceremonies on the grounds of The Manor Basket Range. Of course the gardens and historic Manor are a stunning backdrop for a wedding day, but you could have the most breathtaking venue in the world and if it is not run properly by people that actually care about their couples then what is the point. The crew at The Manor are phenomenal! I witness them going above and beyond for marrying couple and their families weekly. They are a very efficient, responsive and incredibly warm and thoughtful team. I honestly could not recommend booking this venue for your wedding more! x
