Yes, rooms are dated and bedroom is a bit small, but ours was clean and had all the nice amenities (table and chairs, kitchenette with supplies, washer and dryer, and a safe). There was no big container of shampoo in the shower, but they had left 2 small travel sized bottles for us and the body wash bottle was all but empty. Location is fantastic - close to train station and restaurants. And yes, the breakfast was fantastic - the setup is different - you order from the breakfast bar. Staff was fantastic!

My family and I had the most wonderful time in Brisbane. When I booked the hotel, little did I know that I picked a true gem. The room was clean and spacious, service was fantastic and location wise was central and convenient. The hotel is within walking distance of many interesting places. We arrived at the hotel late at night. The reception staff (Erena and Amelia especially Amelia) were accomodating with us and allowed us to check in on our own. Their information and instructions were clear even for the car park. And we did do the formal check in with the reception the next morning. Our stay was just simply FABULOUS! Thank you!

Very good location. Extremely central to Brisbane city CBD. Friendly service and complimentary breakfast is decent. Rooms are a bit dated but are comfortable.

One of the best locations in Brisbane. Easy to walk everywhere, supermarket is less than 100 meters away. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around and easy to get to public transport. Only downside is no parking.

Outstanding location, fabulous large, clean room with comfortable bed and the breakfast was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

This is not a 4 star hotel. It’s low budget daily apartment rental. The rooms are extremely dated with very little to no updating. We found damaged walls, ceilings, and tile throughout. The continental breakfast is the only amenity, there is no waters in the rooms, no extra blankets or pillows. During the two nights we were there, the front desk was empty.

Side note…beware of late checkin. We waited for nearly 30 minutes for someone to answer phone and give us our keys. Don’t use the call box, it hangs up after 10 mins. Call the number.

Is this 4 stars
The location is good and the front desk staff are polite and nice.
However, the rooms are the same as they were 30 years ago.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms.
The only amenity was hair conditioner.
I have to buy shampoo.
The only thing that bothered me was the lace curtains, and it was too bright outside.

Won’t be staying here again. Breakfast terrible we stayed 3 nights ate one breakfast. Room serviced every two days. Room too hot when not using A/C too cold when using A/C. The towels were old and almost grey in colour. $300+ per night definitely not worth the money. Stay in hotel get good service and a half decent breakfast.
