My most favourite hotel in Sydney and our favourite date night venue.

From the reception to the rooms to the pool to the dining/ bar everything just works in harmony to make your stay a relaxing one.

The gentle pastel colours and the French provincial decor at the Langham creates a calming and luxurious atmosphere for the guests.

The observatory bar offers most delicious cocktails.
Note: the kitchens of the Kent doesn’t offer dinner anymore since it’s close for renovations but the bar offers dinner and the food was amazing. We loved the steak and the prawn toast.
Service is exceptional.
Can’t wait to be back.

We stayed here in March 2024, firstly - what a fantastic reception area! It felt elegant and not too snobby/stuck up like some higher end hotels can be. The staff were friendly and we were quickly checked in. The hotel is on the smaller side but that’s not really an issue.

The rooms are very big for Sydney, we had a gorgeous view of the harbour and the shower was good albeit a bit cumbersome to use compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in.

The rooms felt a bit dated and the bathroom could do with modernizing. There were no bedside plugs to charge your device and I felt like the tv was a bit small for the size of the room. The location of the hotel is good but it’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station which wasn’t an issue for me but it isn’t 100% central!

We attended the Langham hotel for the spa facilities. My fiancé and i had birthday massages booked. The staff were amazing, they ensured we had amazing massages and champagne to celebrate. The staff were so accommodating and made us feel so relaxed. I could not recommend this place more for your next spa day.

The Langham is first class service. Amazing hospitality from arrival to departure. The cocktails at the Observatory bar are delicious and the creativity of the bar attendant putting together a drink based on my personal tastes was very impressive. The breakfast at Kitchens on Kent is fantastic, high quality food with outstanding service from all staff.
The day spa is wonderful, we enjoyed the massage following use of the pool haven of relaxation.

Afternoon tea for birthday: ok, not amazing. Nice decor. Sweets were nice (esp rose dome) but savouries very limited and unoriginal. Views of housing commission flats. Biggest disappointment was the $48 birthday dessert plate which was just a sad row of chocolates. Service was pretty okay. Staff were patient with the little kids we had with us. Food quite slow to come out. Long walk from public transport.

Such a beautiful hotel in an easy and convenient location.
Attentive staff, great amenities and good walking distance to all the CBD has to offer without being in the hustle of it.
Rooms have balconies and only 5 levels so you never have to wait long for a lift.

Wow wow wow! We were blown away by this amazingly pleasant stay!

Everything from start to finish was perfect. The room was not ready until close to 4pm even though we had hoped for an early check in but that was fine as they took my bags, and allowed me to go downstairs to the spa to freshen up with a shower. The spa had no available services for in house guest which was a bit of a shame but they seemed busy. Again, a lot of kids here as well so be mindful if you are opposed to kids in the pool, etc.

The gym was nice but small. The amenities were perfect. The buffet was divine and absolutely stunning. We would stay here every time if we could. It is a small boutique sized hotel which made it absolutely perfect for us.

It was quiet and the room was nice. The staff was kind. The room service was exquisite. We just had a blast. Nothing but high and higher remarks for this hotel!

We hope to return one day!

It was safe and serene, away from the major city. One thing we were disappointed in was the tv. We couldn't connect to any smart apps or streaming services and the TV wasn't working on more than half the channels which the staff came up and looked at. They said they would fix but it never got fixed. Luckily, we were only watching in the evening.

A beautiful hotel that feels luxurious from when you first enter it and catch that whiff of the Langham scent. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was quite large, with a very comfortable bed and nice views across Darling Harbour. The bathroom was spacious, with a lovely deep bath and seperate shower. The rooms were quite soundproof, we didn't hear anything from the corridor the whole time we were there. The hotel had some great facilities, including a stunning pool area with saunas, a swimwear-drying machine, spa and showers. We had drinks at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant and found employees in both to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a great spot, walking distance from restaurants, Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge/Opera House.
