An absolutely beautiful stay! From the stylish, modern cabins to the stunning views from the outside area, I’d recommend this spot to anyone visiting Hunter Valley.

The cabins were clean and thoughtfully designed—we especially loved the double showers! The fresh breakfast in the fridge was a lovely touch, and waking up to the view from our bed was unforgettable. The heated pool was another highlight, perfect for our winter visit.

Overall, if you’re considering staying here, I’d book it without hesitation!

Beautiful quaint hotel cabins with private balcony overlooking range or lake. You can see kangaroos outside your balcony at dawn or dusk.

Bed is super comfy, room is really modern. Bathrooms are huge!

They leave you a continental breakfast you can enjoy at your own pace in the morning.

Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The location and views from the lakefront villas are unbeatable. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The supplied breakfast was good and of high quality. The only negative comment I have is too few tea bags are supplied and not enough milk to enjoy the tea/coffee and the granola supplied. Besides these comments our stay was absolutely fantastic.

The minute we walked in the door and saw the room and view we were sorry we were only staying 3 nights. It was the perfect location to relax and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and for us as overseas visitors seeing kangaroos in the wild in the fields around us was the icing on the cake

A lovely setting, very clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely outlook.

However, Management may want to investigate the lack of a handrail into the pool. Dangerous for oldies. Illegal, not sure?

Beautiful area. Friendly staff and gorgeous “studio cabins rooms”. The bathroom was so nice. The shower (two huge head showers inside a cubicle) with natural shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The bedroom has a comfortable bed, with a couch that looks right a this huge window door. Incredible view! The kitchenette is clean, well designed. Balcony with chairs if you want to look at the night sky! I had a great time! Thank you

The Lane Retreat is a truly serene place to stay. My partner and I loved every part of our stay, it is a perfect place to unwind.

The accommodation was beautifully styled, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a stand out, with double sinks and double showers, a very spacious room considering the properties themselves are petite. The balcony was a lovely addition, it really felt like we had the place to ourselves as we were lucky enough to get a room right on the lake. The pool and firepit area was gorgeous, sadly too cold for us to swim. However the pool is heated, so is suitable all year round.

The location is another major benefit of this retreat. Wineries were all within a short distance and both restaurants we dined at were two minutes up the road!

Lastly, the customer service was excellent. Rhiannon was professional, prompt, friendly and accommodating.

We cannot wait to come and stay at this beautiful retreat again. Thank you!

What an absolutely stunning place to stay in the hunter valley. These rooms have magical views over the property with gorgeous finishing touches. the highlight of my stay was waking up to hot air balloons floating overhead and kangaroos having their breakfast on the grass around the property. would highly recommend for a sensational getaway.
