We had our wedding at The Lakehouse Folk earlier this year, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The place and the view are even more magical than the photos, pictures truly don’t do it justice. Each loft had its own unique style, which added so much to the atmosphere of the night.

James and Skye were amazing hosts who went out of their way to ensure everything went exactly as we hoped.

We are glad that we found such an amazing venue without having to fly to Italy 😅

I recently had the pleasure of eloping at The Lakehouse Folk in Montville, and I can honestly say it was the most stunning venue for our special day. The views of Lake Baroon are absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to witness the perfect sunset after we exchanged our vows. The entire location has this serene, tranquil vibe that made our elopement feel truly magical.

We also stayed in the two cottages on site—both of which were amazing! The retro cottage for the guys and the bridal cottage for the girls were exactly what we needed. Both cottages were beautifully styled and had everything we could have asked for, making our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free.

A big shout out to James and Skye, who were incredibly warm and easy to communicate with throughout the entire planning process. Their laid-back, professional approach made organising our day so much smoother, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts.

The Lakehouse Folk was the perfect backdrop for our elopement, and we’ll treasure those memories forever. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate setting for their special day!

My husband and I just recently had our wedding here. We are so happy with our decision to tie the knot at this stunning venue. It was lovely to have our close friends stay with us for 2 nights. We also loved that we could have the bridal party getting ready in one cabin and the groomsmen in the other. We then had our ceremony, all our photos and our reception here. No need to hire transport and factor in time to move to a new venue. Our whole day was spent here! All of our guests as well as us were blown away by the stunning views - truly such a magical place to marry. We highly recommend if you are after an intimate beautiful space to have a micro wedding, sharing it all with your close friends and loved ones.

The elopement location of my dreams. The Lakehouse folk is the most stunning location not just because of its amazing scenery but also the cottages. The cottages are beautifully done, the decor, furniture and everything is just finished to perfection.
James and Skye are such great hosts! I couldn’t recommend the Lakehouse folk anymore highly for an elopement or just somewhere to stay for a relaxing getaway. We definitely will be back.

Wow - what a location! The Lakehouse Folk was a vision and pleasure to stay at. From rustic, country decor to incredible lake views, this property has everything you need for a weekend away PLUS the added bonus of visiting donkeys!! I was a guest for a photography retreat held here and I am so thankful for the incredible location. Great hosts, would come back again!
