Great tidy park, easy access with plenty of parking in a nice quiet area with low traffic.
It has a huge playground with 2 big slides, a jumping pillow and cafe
Clean bbq area with a few nice benches.
Recommend taking the kids here after school or in the afternoon on weekends to wear them down.

The playground is amazing, the amenities are very good. What is needed is more shade. The trees will shade a lot in 10 years. As for now the shade sails are few and far between. At 9:30am during spring time the slides were hot enough to be uncomfortable and the amount of shaded seating is limited.

This place would get 5 stars all round if there was more shade. As for now, bring your own chairs and umbrellas.

What a great park very clean with plenty off room to have a picnic or kids party, it’s right next to the north shore display village so plenty to see and do . Toilet facilities available as well. Very popular on the weekends for kids party so come early.

Awesome park. Lacks shade over the main playground area. Has a great Cafe which closes at 1pm and unfortunately the toilet closes with it.
Otherwise one of the best playgrounds in Townsville

Great park for the kids, lots to do. Clean and tidy. Great playground with a big jumping pillow that even the"big" kids can go on.

Great park, the kids love having a play here after school.
There is a large jumping pillow, a multistory playground and a toddler play area. Also some space for kids to run around.
The cafe seems to be open more now which is nice, I just wish they would cater for more dietary needs.
The BBQ's seem popular and most weekends there will be a birthday party, so need to get in early if you wish to have tables.
The seats available are not well shaded unless you have a table, but once the young trees grow we should see some more shade available.
The toilet is also a great feature but it can become a bit grubby, I don't think it is attended too much during the day.
Overall a great park!

Nice big spacious area for children to explore. In need of more shaded areas. It may be a wheelchair accessible park with a ramp that's where the thought finished sadly for proper inclusion. The toilet needs work. Where do I change my 9yr quadriplegic disabled son?! On the floor?! Toilet seat was broken, toilet paper everywhere, you couldn't take out the paper towel to dry your hands, (not easy for kids to use)The sand is ridiculously HOT even at 10:30am. This is Townsville Nth Qld! That sand burnt my feet it was so hot, I can't imagine children's feet. Yes, there's bench seats but they're also in the hot sun! Where's the shade?! ?‍♀️ Definitely needs improvement!

Does anyone know who to talk to to find out when the jumping pillow will be repaired. We were looking at having my sons party here but one of the main reasons was the jumping pillow and it is currently "awaiting repair"
