A genuine shame as it started so lovely... well, it was, until my toddler didn't pat the owner's dog. Then the owner took a dislike to us all, especially my husband, was unkind to him and very passive aggressive.

The experience dampened our holiday, a shame.

Even just for one night this was such a lovely stay. Welcomed by a lovely host who showed us to our room, turning on the lights and drawing the blinds for us. Big TV, comfy bed, great location, amazing utilities and more. I would 100% recommend this motel, thank you for such a lovely stay!

I called pretty close to closing last night, desperately seeking somewhere to pull in for the night as Urunga was all booked out.
The manager happened to be out of office attending a function, but answered the phone and had everything arranged for unattended check-in, just in case she got a call like mine. Magic!
The facility is an old classic. More like staying at Nana's than the Hilton, and that is a compliment. The bedding was insanely comfortable and I slept like a log. Extensive cooking facilities too, if you're staying longer than I did.
And I had no idea about the views until I got up in the morning.
Next time I need to stop, I hope I'm near here again.

Lovely little motel, clean and tidy. Helena was so welcoming and helpful with information about things to see and do.|Will definitely stay longer next time. Loved that it was pet friendly, my little Zirra had plenty of room to explore.|Just a short drive into town.

Very good place to stay whilst In Nambucca Heads . The owner was very friendly and helpful telling us where to dine and places to see.|They have a lovely old dog who is a bit shy with strangers. Would stay there again if in the area. We were offered a river view room at the same rate as our garden view room as we wanted to sit in the morning sun.

Stay here, it is perfect!! What a stunning place to stay, if you need somewhere for a road trip or even to stay in the area. The views are incredible, the room is clean, the lady that greets you is absolutely sweet. She showed us places for breakfast and dinner, showed us the back garden, upgraded our room so my son could have his own bed and moved heaven and earth to ensure we were comfortable. She was fantastic with my 4 year old and watched him whilst unloading the car which was parked undercover out the front of the room. I will recommend to anyone, absolutely beautiful and everything works and is clean. What a unicorn of a place and close to everything.

After a dismal dump I initially booked in the area I came here. What a pleasant surprise. A little more to upgrade, dog friendly, the most beautiful room with all appliances etc in kitchenette. Spotlessly clean and lovely grounds for my dog. Chilled water and ice in the fridge. The owner was so nice and helpful. Thoroughly recommend

What awesome place to stay Helena is an absolute gem she goes above n beyond to make everyone comfortable n enjoy their stay nicely located backed up to the river the front n back yards are beautiful rooms very clean n comfortable friendly staff I can't say enough to give this place justice it deserves but highly recommend anyone to stay I'm already looking forward to my next stay thank you Helena
