Amazing weekend away at the Institute of Awesome - lodge was perfect, and accommodated three large families with a tribe of kids well. Heaps to explore, great bush walks, super clean rooms with great beds and linen. Highlight was definitely the secret lab and Zoe and Vaughan’s hospitality. Will definitely be back!

Had an amazing time here with outstanding natural surroundings with easy access to the sea and forests. It's impressive to see the bush right by your room. The facilities were good including a great kitchen, however, it was a pity that the sauna wasn't operational. Overall, a great trip. P.S There are really big native moths here and cool glowworms

This is a really great place to stay in Raglan. There's a really big kitchen and a smaller one. There's free wifi everywhere and the facilities gets cleaned properly everyday. They even have a sauna and a big chill out area. The people are very nice and the surf lessons they offer are great as well. They also offer yoga lessons everyday on a awesome platform with a stunning view on the sea. There is really nothing to complain about, I can highly recommend this hostel.

Awesome!!! Such a beautiful, peaceful spot amongst the birds and the trees ?️
Nice simple cabins, great sauna and showers and the shared hall is well stocked with games, books and other wonderful fun things. My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay ?

What an amazing place!! We stayed here with our campervan for a night, and felt right at home. We rented two surfboards from the lodge and had a blast on the waves. The people are super friendly and atmosphere is relaxing. Loved it.

It's a really interesting place for a hostel. The rooms and facilities are built onto the hillside. Getting from your room to the kitchen and bathrooms is a bit inconvenient. But it's a great location and Inspiration Point is beautiful addition!

Nice, clean and cozy rooms. Good bathrooms. Chilly community room with free pool table. Very nice people. Had a surf lesson. Teacher was awesome! I want to get back to this place!

Amazing hostel ! Even better location, it even had a zipwire (in the night time there are glow worms along each side of the zip wire , it's pretty special to watch on the ride down) the food there is great they cater for vegetarians 🙂 pool table film's , good people ! About 5 mins walk down to raglans famous left hander !!
