Our stay at this hotel was exceptional. The room was impeccably clean—you could immediately sense the freshness upon entering. The inclusion of a kitchenette was particularly convenient, allowing for added comfort and flexibility during our visit. The room is very spacious too. The environment was remarkably quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Considering the affordability, the value far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

We've stayed at the Henry Parkes a few times over the last few years but this was our first stay under the new ownership. We booked a standard King room and standards have plummeted. The restaurant was closed at the time - no problem with that, if you can't get a chef, there's nothing to be done. However, the rooms have had microwaves removed. I understand that management wants to funnel guests into the restaurant but if you can't provide that, put the microwaves back. We were travelling on a tight budget and had brought food to heat. The rooms now have no plates, cutlery, or wine glasses - not even cold water in the fridge is provided. There was a toaster but what's the point without a knife or plate We'll be avoiding Redhill properties on the rest of our travels if this is indicative of how they operate. On the plus side - the bed was comfortable and Monique on reception was very pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. We travel with a cat and a corgi dog and we had this amazing fenced in area for the dog to be outside if he wanted to be. Best we have ever come across! The room also was excellent. Absolutely nothing to complain about and the owner was friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay there again!

Spent one night here. Very good accommodation and much appreciated by our Jack Russell terrier! Very clean room and very quiet location. Close to a reasonable Thai restaurant and shops.
Shame the restaurant wasn’t open at the time. Certainly recommend this motel.

We were comfortable and were met with friendly helpful staff whenever we needed anything. The location was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. I appreciated the sustainability of dispensing toiletries from bulk containers, rather than those little plastic bottles. In fact , the hand cream was particularly nice - what brand was it, please?

Here for work and was ,by chance upgraded to one of the large, spacious king rooms out the back, they were supburb , clean roomy, lounges, kitchenette large bathroom with spa, not that i used it and also a laundry. Been booking the same rooms ever since as they offer affordable prices during the working week (outside holidays) for the better rooms, for the regulars. Even the cheaper rooms are not bad, small, but still tidy. My number 1 in Tenterfield by far and staff are nice and accomadating . Highly recommenend

Not my favourite place to stay, and certainly wouldn't have wanted to spend more than one night. Be selective about which room you stay in - ours was right up the back of the block, and had a shower over a deep spa bath. It would have been a good room for a family, though, and it did have a washing machine and dryer. The possum on the fence created some entertainment!

A very uncomfortable night was spent at this hotel. Our room was right up the back of the block, and we had to drag our suitcases through gravel to get there. The bed was super uncomfortable, and the bathroom was just weird. We had a shower over a very aged spa bath, which was quite unsafe. The exhaust fan didn't work, so the mirror, which was badly lit anyway, was practically unusable. The possum on the fence behind the room added to the ambience. Not!
