I struggled to decide on a rating for this place because the food is amazing and the staff are lovely, but some of their clientele ruin the vibe. Our group got yelled at by some angry male customers 3 times over while we were going about our own business quietly.

I would definitely go back though because the food was so so good and they are dog friendly. I would say this is one of the best pubs I've ever been to.
Also quite reasonably priced for what you get.

An excellent old school Aussie pub with your typical food fare. Service is polite and efficient and food of good quality. Be aware on their specials nights it's advisable to book. Their steak night was excellent with a perfectly cooked steak.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill.
Compared to other pubs in the mountains the same meals are of lower quality and significantly smaller serving sizes. This would be acceptable if it was reflected in the price-which it is most definitely not.
If you want pub food, Litteraly any other pub in the mountains is better value.

Stopped at The Henry for a meal with my partner and ordered 2 dishes from the a la carte menu plus drinks from the bar. While waiting for the dishes to arrive I asked for the internet network and password as I needed to get online urgently. I was refused, and told the internet facilities are only for the room guests who stay overnight not the restaurant guests. I was gobsmacked. What kind of policy is this, where you are made to feel you are a second-rate guest when you are seated at the restaurant and have paid and are waiting for your meal? Is Australia on its way to a class system? Everywhere else in this modern world, even at a small cafe in Asia and Europe, you order even just a coffee and the password is on the menu for you so you can use the internet while you are there. What is the problem here? Does the Henry's manager think he's going to win points by preventing some guests from accessing the internet? No wonder many tourists think of us as being a backwater country, one so far behind it's not funny. My experience at the Henry sure goes some way to prove it, unfortunately.

Popped in on a Monday night for a bite after a Blue Mountains hike.

I had the chicken burger. It was decent, fries were a bit average.

Service was friendly.

A wee bit cold inside, pleased I had a good hoodie on.

Would pop in again to charge the batteries if I was passing by.

Unfortunately for us the head chef had called in sick so dinning experience wasn't the greatest our food burnt and extended waiting times this was mainly due to a private function so not really there fault, .......but the girls working the kitchen and bar get a solid 8/10 for effort, location great and old style pub which was great I reckon this place on a Friday or Saturday arvo would be great. Beer icy cold and great selection. Only sort of issue was parking but not really that big a deal.

Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area

I am a local and have been here 3 times and can now say I am done! The food is sooooo overpriced for the quality. The coleslaw that comes with the schnitzel is basically a woolies bag of red cabbage mix with some weird dressing and parmesan cheese. Schnitzel has no seasoning and while the fries and gravy are OK - $26. The highlight was the burrito bowl - awful - not sure what's going on here but 6 black beans, spoonful of rice, wilted lettuce, some sour cream and some sliced chicken, 5 nacho chips and again parmesan cheese?
The other thing is that this is the second time our meals didn't go through so the wait for this food was nearly an hour.,
It's sad this pub is so bad as it's our local but never again. There are much better places to eat in the mountains.

The food was below average. The chicken was cold in the middle and had clearly being refrigerated for quite a while pre-cooked. The mousse was disgusting, a bowl of hard chocolate god knows what covered in fresh cream. Would not eat here again.
