Really enjoyed our visit to The Hall at Welcome to Brunswick. The food was great — generous portions that definitely exceeded our expectations. The service was solid and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you’re after a hearty, satisfying meal to share with friends, this place is definitely worth checking out. We held our wedding at The Hall at Welcome to Brunswick in January, and it truly was the most perfect day. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless and special.

Dianna was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process—always responsive, supportive, and full of great advice. On the day of the wedding, Skye and her team were an absolute dream to work with. The staff were so friendly and attentive—nothing was ever too much to ask, and they made us and our guests feel so well looked after.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—so many of our guests are still talking about what an incredible space it is. We had a cocktail-style wedding, and the food was beyond amazing. Guests raved about how much food there was and how delicious every bite tasted.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Thank you again to the entire team at The Hall—you made it unforgettable.

On Friday 23 May 2024, we celebrated our son's wedding at this stunning rustic venue, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was. From the moment we enquired, through to booking the venue, the communication with Diana was clear, timely, and incredibly helpful. Every question was answered with care (and patience lol), and the staff made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—charming, rustic elegance at its finest. From the exposed wood beams, brick feature walls, to the picturesque outdoor lane way, every corner offered a perfect photo opportunity and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It truly created the magical backdrop we were hoping for.

The food was delicious and plentiful, but what really stood out for our guest though, was the staff!. Led by Skye, every team member went above and beyond to ensure the evening ran flawlessly. They were professional, attentive, and genuinely kind—making sure both the couple and all our guests felt welcomed and cared for throughout the evening.

We’re so grateful for the memories made here. If you’re looking for a venue that combines natural beauty with outstanding service, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Bottomless dumplings and dimmies... Need I say more!! I recommend everyone have a go at this and enjoy the wide selection. I would say eat slowly as the there is a wide selection but if you try eat at an 'all you can eat pace' you'll get very bored as they are all bite sized. All cooked to perfection and the service was great, young not bothered with the world type service but majority of staff were engaged and easy going. Give it a go

Myself and two friends went here for the "Bottomless dimmies, dumplings and buns". Not sure if we were supposed to get prawn crackers on arrival or not, but other than that I can't fault the food, the service, the atmosphere... We will all definitely come back again.

Held our wedding at The Hall and it was absolute perfection. From the initial enquiry right until the day of the communication from the team and the support we received was amazing. Diana who helped us was an absolute delight. The venue it self is beautiful and OMG the food! Our guests are still telling us how amazing the food was. Could not recommend highly enough!

We gave the Mess Hall another go recently and found it a much better experience. The staff who served us this time were super duper friendly and were able to enlighten me on the scent that I couldn’t identify from the previous visit. Turns out it’s just the smell of ancient history as the space has had a fascinating background all the way back to its heyday as a Masonic Hall.

We tried the thick noodle dish again knowing it was a hit and also added a pad Thai upon recommendation. In keeping with the Thai theme we also went for the massman which we enjoyed from the original visit. i still really do love this spot for its sensational ambiance and would definitely take people here for drinks if I wanted to impress with a quirky Melbourne venue

We held our wedding at The Hall and couldn't have chosen a better venue. Diana who assisted us in planning the whole ordeal every step of the way was incredible and so was Skye and team on the night. They made sure everything went smoothly and were so incredibly helpful, down to making sure the bride & groom were well fed and hydrated. Food was super scrumptious and the venue naturally beautiful and eclectic. Convenient parking after hours. We could not recommend The Hall enough for other couples looking for a very reasonably priced, delicious, accommodating, and wonderfully fun venue for a Wedding or any other function or just a delicious dinner!
