This place is a hidden oasis amongst the hustle and bustle. Truly a relaxing experience with outdoorsy, tropical vibes and easy going music. The staff were very accommodating and chill offering advice on personal menu selection. The Avo & BB crumpet was a taste of Australia with a different take on a Vegemite on toast. Don't be fooled by its simplicity, this dish is amazing.

Most importantly the coffee is fantastic. Perfectly textured milk and precisely extracted beans meant for a very pleasant experience.

I will be sure to visit again.

If you are looking for a deliciously convenient and relaxed spot to meet a group of friends or some sneaky time to yourself, add this treasure to your list!
Beautiful owner and staff, with warm greetings, hot and cold drinks, plus yummy snacks.
Plenty of easy parking, wheelchair access, and lovely play items for the smaller children to be occupied while you enjoy the nectar of the Gods! I was fortunate to meet the owner, Jen, on my last visit, and what a passionate and caring soul she is! Thank you 🌷🌿🩷✨️

Generous and tasty coffee. The crumpet was small size but delicious. Nice outdoor & chill setting. Located at a busy intersection but worth the stop.

Love Gypseas. It's the perfect post yoga stop. The coffee & chai is Amazing! Crumpets are also delicious. My fav is the avocado. Yum! Super kid & dog friendly. Love that it is outside to make the most of living in Townsville. We love Nat and have also had her cater delicious vegan raw cakes for our Teacher Trainings. The best.

We love our regular visits to Gypseas for coffee, chai, puppycinos and crumpets. Natalie makes nice coffee and showcases other small local producers. The range of toppings for the sourdough, vegan or gluten free crumpets are delicious and makes choosing difficult! The ambience of the location is also lovely, as is the friendly service from Natalie and Marlin.

First visit to Gypseas this weekend but definitely not the last. Long Shot beans (which I WILL be visiting shortly for my own stock) make the smoothest brew, and the atmosphere (🌿🌻🪴) was just lovely. Do yourself a favour and pick up a coffee here, then mosie down to Anderson Park for a Saturday well spent.

This little outdoor cafe goes off in the winter months! I just love hanging out here. The service is 2nd to none even when they're busy the girls will acknowledge you with a smile or a hello. The food is too good, I literally have to stop myself eating too much! If you're looking for great coffee, great service & great food, this is your place
