We were looking for a cafe while staying in Smiths Lake, and the Good Food Store blew us away! Amazing service, well tailored menu to any dietary need, and simple food done well. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area and you should too 🙂

I can’t overstate how AMAZING the cafe is. You can tell they love what they do — and it can be felt. It’s a friendly, welcoming, warm experience. The staff were so kind and gave great recommendations.

We started with coffee, smoothie & treats from the case (Nadine the Cake Queen supplies insanely yummy treats and we can see why she’s earned that title). If you’re picky about your coffee, you’ll love it here — they know what they’re doing.

Then we had lunch, prepared by their in house chef. The pulled pork was incredible, accompanied by homemade vegan aioli, lettuce, and apple relish. I reckon best choice ever. My friend had the sad which was also delicious. You can just tell the chef is making food with love, it tastes amazing and the feel is fresh, local, satisfying, with attention to detail.

I’m obsessed with this cafe and I wish everywhere I went had such amazing food options made with care. Plus, they’re all about “slow food, not fast food” and their love comes through all they do. Wish we lived anywhere near this place and I’d consider coming for a holiday just to eat here every day and sit by the lake ?

Could not be a nicer place! The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and work hard to make sure you have a nice time. The food is delicious, with a lot of options for vegan and gluten intolerant customers, including cakes made by the business, and options that range from your classic cafe standards to some options you wouldn't normally see (such as Polenta with house made Tomato sauce). There is a relaxed beachy vibe, and a board out the front with a commitment to reduced waste. All round fantastic!

Beautiful place to stop in for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Located in the heart of Smith's lake; this cafe offers a warm welcome to locals and those on their travels. With wholesome, locally sourced food, it has been a go too for both myself and all those I know seeking some quality produce made into a delicious meal (good coffee too)

Booked a place down the lake, near another coffee shop, however dogs were not allowed and they didn’t accept card, only cash. So I went to this coffee shop 5mins away and they were amazing. The lady was so nice, the service was fantastic, they gave our dog some chicken. What an amazing touch. We felt so welcome! Thank you for the amazing service.

The cakes are outstanding, I had it with coconut yoghurt that was also divine. The staff were incredibly friendly and fast, I really couldn’t recommend them enough.
