The Glen has been a great family friendly venue for us over the last 13 years. With the playground situated beside the deck, it made dining with 3 young children easy. Kids eat free night has always been a big draw card, especially during these tough times.
We have always experienced great service and atmosphere! The Glen has always provide a menu with great variety to choose from for the whole family.

Service is average in my opinion.
Not much interaction from the staffs. They seem like they are just doing what they are supposed to do but no more.

Atmosphere is pretty good. Different section of the restaurant has different feeling. Also for those who have kids its will be great to sit around the kids play area while you having adult time and watch the kids play. *but watch out going at times everyone else is thinking of going, as we went there when pretty much all of the vacant tables were reserved…

The food is average especially considering the price they charge for their food. Tastes nice but for the price I will hesitate… also like many other pubs the steaks were over cooked. Having to pay over $50 for a piece of steak and coming over cooked is not ideal…

We went here for the first time last night for dinner and had a lovely time. Our server had a great sense of humour and was very competent. We had a very, very fussy eater with us and they easily accommodated her. There was a reasonable wait for the food and it all looked and tastes great. We had fish, steak and chicken at our table and all were beautiful. The results for the chips vs the potatoes ended in a draw. Lovely atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. We will definitely be back.

Just had my daughters baby shower here, the food was terrible. 5 people out of the 30 guest that came ordered the calamari, it was legit a oil pile. We had to put the calamari on napkins to soak it up. It was like it was cooked in warm oil.
The burgers were below average, very disappointed.

I booked the Glen for a 21st celebration for my son in the Lily restaurant based on previous positive experiences we had experienced at your venue. From the moment we went in to book and were shown around to look at dining options, to our arrival on the night, the food quality and the service from both wait staff and bar staff alike was exceptional. We were put in a partially private area that segregated us and allowed for mingling and speeches without really disturbing other guests. Charles was our head waiter for the night, and his professionalism from our arrival to our departure is to be noted. His communication, suggestions, attention to detail, and co ordination of serving 40 meals all at once so promptly from the a la carte menu is to be commended. It was the first time many of our guests had visited the Glen and we have only heard positive feedback. Everybody loved the menu, the quality and quantity of the food and the friendly professional staff. Thank you for making a significant family event a wonderful night for us.

Had lunch on Monday orders were as follows - ordered rump steak (medium)
Served well over done dry and tough.
Chicken parmigiana needed a steak knife to cut it, took home for the dogs.
Beef brisket - dry and small.
Roast pork a chunk of roast - average
Will never recommend food there and will never go back.

Very very unprofessional behaviour of the 2 female staff who served my mum and I at the bar yesterday afternoon.

I was absolutely appalled to see the behaviour of both the staff when my mother and I had finished ordering. We turn our backs to return to our table and they start laughing at our expense because of the confusion on our behalf with the menu. An absolute NO NO in hospitality industry!

I suggested to my parents for some pizza at the Glen. I doubt I will ever return.

Please train your staff to be patient and respectful while dealing with patrons from different ethnic backgrounds and especially if they are senior!

We do enjoy visiting The Glen Hotel, especially for Sunday lunch. The food is great and also appreciate having a good selection of Gluten free food. The service is great and even when there was a miss communication in an order, the staff dealt with that very well.
