What an amazing place, right in the Daintree rainforest. Lovely views, really nice rooms and Matt is very friendly and helpful. Lots to do, kids had a blast, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit. We even saw a Cassowary walking through the garden! Definitely recommend

A truly amazing place to stay if you want to be in the rainforest. Matt has created something really special here. We stayed 3 nights in a self contained cottage and enjoyed daily breakfast at the main house. Matt is a wealth if knowledge on the local area which was great for planning our time in the area. Highly recommend staying here 🙂

What an amazing experience it is to stay with Matt in Epyphite B&B. The rooms are spacious and open up to the rainforest. With seating and hammocks on the private decks and a large communal shared space that includes a kitchen and tons of games - this place is amazing!

Daily fresh fruit platter breakfasts with stories of the early days, sounds of the rainforest and company from other travellers. Stunning!

During our month of travelling accross Australia we were very lucky to get some rooms in this wonderfull B&B! What a treat! In the middle of nowhere one can find this jewel of a B&B run by owner Matt. Besides the very nice rooms and the location the breakfast is outstanding - never before have I had such a delicious fruit platter! And toast with self made marmelade of course.

Apart from being a very gentle and kind host Matt is also very knowledgable about the surrounding Daintree rainforest. He can tell you exactly where to go and what to experience and knows some spots outside of the 'heavily travelled' routes. In the evening the porch is very relaxing!

As we were, sadly, leaving after a few lovely nights we also saw a cassiowary! Right in the garden! We had already given up on seeing one of those and were very lucky to see this one which visits now and then.

All in all a great experience and very recommendable.

My stay at Epiphyte BnB was one of the highlights of my Australian adventure so far. Coming back from an exciting day of jungle exploration to relaxing in a hammock with my favourite book listening to the rain was just the best feeling. ||The hand-built property is a welcoming and open environment with a focus on green and sustainable-living and is perfectly located for those seeking to explore the rainforest and cape Tribulation. ||I very much enjoyed having great conversations with the host, Matt - whom is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area having come to Daintree to build Epiphyte many years ago. ||Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Epiphyte BnB if you’re looking for the perfect retreat to base yourself whilst exploring the Daintree rainforest.

Incredible stay in one of the most beautiful settings I've stayed in. If you're into wildlife/environment this is definitely the place for you! Matt is an incredible host with a huge amount of knowledge on the local area/ecology and provides great advice on how to make the most of your time in the region. We got some great wildlife sightings following his guidance. On top of this, the accommodation is a very welcoming and friendly environment. Honestly can't recommend it enough!

Enjoyed our stay at Epiphyte. Matt was a great host.......very friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were clean and very functional. The property offered a little creek and orchard which were nice for short walks and exploring. The location offered easy access to many Cape Tribulation attractions. The fruit and cereal breakfasts were delicious. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend it to others.
