It's the first time attending The Empire our friends brought 4 tickets to see SMOKEY the other friends that the tickets were intended for had medical problems so our friends asked my partner and I if we wanted to go yes was the answer the show was amazing I thought The Empire looks amazing.
I'm looking forward to attending again soon ☺️

I recently visited this theatre with my wife, and we had a pretty good time. The interior was lovely—it had a vintage charm but with a modern touch. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed directions. The show we watched was engaging, and the sound quality was top-notch. However, I noticed that the seating layout wasn’t very spacious. If someone tall is sitting in front of you, it might block your view a bit. Also, the food options at the snack bar were limited, which was a bit disappointing. I’d recommend grabbing a meal before heading in. Still, it’s a cozy spot to catch a live performance or movie. Just a little fine-tuning, and it’d be a fantastic experience overall.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! We saw Kate Miller Heidke here and was blown away by the acoustics and the beauty of the place.

We were deciding between here and qpac. 100% will choose the empire again .

Free local parking, great seating.

(More room for lining up for refreshments, or a velvet rope or something because the line was hard to figure out)

But a great place to have a great night!!!

Lovely staff from ticketing box to the ushers...always helpful and keen ambassadors. Great old art nouveau theater kept busy with programmes full of entertainment at reasonable prices. Would like a light food refreshments bar...? Love the coffee on arrival. A wheelchair can be booked if necessary.
