our last meal before the car home. and what a way to see out Katoomba. The Elephant Bean is an unassuming little hole in the wall cafe. it doesnt have extensive lists of foods. but what it does serve. it truly does very well. we ordered fruit toast. (with what looked like homemade jam) and the chorizo beans on toast. with our usual coffees. it was cold outside. it was pretty early. but it just hit the spot. well nourished for our trip back into the city.

I was highly impressed with this place. The coffee was very nice smooth tasting. I also got the beans and chorizo on sourdough toast, for such a simple meal they have managed to fill it with incredible flavour perfectly seasoned, also the atmosphere is very chill and naturalistic with an artsy tinge. Highly recommend.

We had cappuccino and turmeric latte with lemon cake and white chocolate macadamia slice. Everything was great, staff was friendly and place had a cozy and colorful vibe.
Would definitely visit again and recommend to try their delicious coffee.

Very good coffee ☕️. I liked the ambience - very lovely. They do not have much sitting - may be 4-5 tables inside and couple of tables outside. The service is very friendly and fast. Highly recommend the place for a coffee or a quick bite. They have some toasties. The one with salmon was delicious 😋.
There is some paid parking in the street.

These guys are amazing! I ordered beans on toast without realizing it comes with chorizo, and since I'm a vegetarian, I couldn't eat it. When I let them know, they were so kind and understanding — they made me a fresh vegetarian sandwich at no extra cost. Really appreciated the service and the kindness!

Great spot for a cosy coffee and food on a cool morning. Friendly staff, great selection of gluten free treats (handmade locally). Great ham and cheese croissant with the best local ham. Highly recommend
