I was super excited to go to Rockhampton for the first time. I drove 9 hours with my autistic 17 year old. I have a long family history here but had not visited before and I’m 46 years old. ||When I arrived, happy to be at their hotel, their 3 staff at reception were transactional. These were the first people I meet in Rockhampton. Please know I stay in backpacks all the way to high end hotels but the staff made me feel like I was an imposter and I shouldn’t be in their hotel. |There was nothing welcoming about them. Not even a “how has your day been “?. It was more, I’m charging you card, this is how your room fob works, see you later. This was the same for staff across the 2 days I stayed there. |No asking if I needed anything or if they could be of assistance. Just nothing. Flatline. |Aside from this, the apartment is 3.5 star. Really comfortable and a huge balcony with a great few. I couldn’t complain about a $220 per night charge.

First time staying here and not sure I would stay here again.||The hotel is functional but let down by some simple things.|1. Room layout was weird!|2. Room felt tired and needing some love|3. Bedding needs to be improved - quite should be in a quilt cover, not sandwiched between two flat sheets|4. Car parking onsite is limited - so if checking in after work you will be on the street

Great central location along the river. Nice enough hotel, but for the price I’d recommend checking alternative options first. The air conditioning room temperature cannot be set below 22C. Upon speaking to staff, was advised by their maintenance staff that this was the case for all their rooms. It’s cooler outside than it is in the room. Water pressure in the shower is very low and leaks out into the bathroom floor. If you don’t mind a warmer nights sleep then the room is probably fine. Staff were friendly, but unfortunately not a comfortable stay and will look elsewhere for next visit.

We are travelling for business, and looked at the location for the affiliated accommodation provider and were not impressed. After the previous not of being in very poor accommodation we drove around Rockhampton and was impressed by the way Edge presented themselves. Their staff were very hospitable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the whole room was beautiful and clean! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure.

Great location along the Fitzroy River with some nice restaurants right next to it. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Only real gripe was on site parking, came back at night to find only a couple of spare parks available but only 1 was large enough to very tightly squeeze in my dual cab Ute. Other than that would certainly recommend staying here if you need a well located and equipped apartment.

Located just along the fitroy river, this apartment gives a beautiful view of the mountains and river. There is a balcony in the room, enjoy the sunrise every morning if you are facing the river. Staff is friendly and gives great help when required. Bed is on the softer side, pillows are soft too. There is a kitchen in the room, utensils are available too. Shampoo and body wash, conditioner and hand soap are all provided as part of the package. Try to get a high floor overlooking the river for the best views. It's near to the popular restaurant and a coles super market
