I visited here during the day when it was a relaxing spot for a drink, sat in the large open windows watching the world go by. But for any rock music lover it must be a dream place in the evening - even the food menu is geared appropriately to the genre! There’s a full set up on the stage for bands and the decor has lots to admire as well.

A decent pub for sure and one I’ll return to soon.

Come here regularly for picklebacks and great music. The food is epic, especially the new menu. The schnitty is the best one around. I’m from the Uk and The Duke makes me feel like i’m in Camden. It’s like Worlds End and Underworld in one room but with a really nice outdoor area. Such an iconic bar in Enmore.

Every time I’ve been to this place I’ve had excellent service. Renae and Cameron have always done a fantastic job serving in a casual yet professional way. Perfect for this kind of venue. This evening I had the steak which was done by a new chef and may I say, perfectly cooked as were the chips. I felt even the chimmichurri was perfectly balanced and felt very fresh. Even in the middle of a rush they always deliver. Well done!!!

A grungy pub, with a cosy rabbit warren of rooms, including a small pool room adjacent to tables next to an open fire and an eatery at the back (almost out doors). Like most pubs, quiet outside busy times of the week, noisy and busy as heck when the variable quality of metal bands are playing. A great venue if metal is your thing.

Can a pub get a hat for a schnitty ? Duke already ruled for the drinks, vibe and music. But now I have to re-do my review again because the food is absolutely stand out guys.

The most “Newtown” bartenders I’ve ever met. Too cool, pretentious and give zero f’s. Got the nerve to talk to you as though you owe them a favour for wanting to purchase a beverage. No, you’re not edgy love. Clearly you hate your job, that’s not my fault. Upon reading the poor reviews, not surprised there seems to be several similar comments about an extremely rude short, short-haired female bartender. Won’t be returning because of her either

The Duke of Enmore is an absolute gem in Sydney’s live music scene. This place oozes character, with its laid-back yet buzzing atmosphere, killer acoustics, and a lineup that always delivers. Whether it’s an up-and-coming local act or a seasoned band tearing up the stage, the live performances here are top-tier, making it the perfect spot for music lovers.

But the Woodford pizza? Next level. Crisp, wood-fired perfection with just the right balance of toppings—whether you’re after a classic Margherita or something more adventurous, every bite is gold. And if you’re into cocktails, you’re in for a treat. The bartenders here know their stuff, mixing up delicious, well-balanced drinks that hit just right.

Whether you’re here for the tunes, the food, or the vibe, the Duke of Enmore never disappoints. A must-visit for a proper night out in the Inner West. Five stars all the way!
