A Hidden Delight...
The DOCK Hervey Bay is hidden from the car park, offering an unassuming walk into the wonderful world of fantastic food, super service, and a truly relaxing vibe overlooking the marina.

We were welcomed in the late afternoon by the lovely smiling, happy faces of very attentive staff and seated along with our much loved furball, overlooking the marina while the whale watching tour boats returned from their day at sea.

We were overwhelmed by their friendliness and just how much the staff cared about making our dog as happy and comfortable as we were, delivering her own bowl of water, with our table water on arrival.

We had an assortment of small plates that were tasty and full of flavour, cooked to perfection, including possibly the best guacamole dip we've ever tasted.

If you're in Hervey Bay, The DOCK is an absolute must visit for anyone looking for a a place to be with a relaxing atmosphere, lovely staff, and great food.

Just WOW. HONESTLY l don't know how anyone could give this venue any less than a five. Eight of us went there yesterday evening and with all honesty l could not fault anything. Service was super fast, food delicious, and all staff so nice and friendly and NOT stressed. The boss seems lovely and l guess that may be part of it. My daughter supervises a bistro, and boy! She would love a boss like this guy. We WILL be back. ♡

Beautiful place to doing our last night in Hervey Bay. Delicious foods and drinks. Great spicy Bloody Mary. Highly recommend the popcorn halloumi & sweet potato fries. Only negative was there was over an hour long wait for drinks and entrees due to a systems glitch

We have been in Hervey Bay staying at the Mantra and our favourite place by far to hang out in the evening has been the Dock the staff were amazing, friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was awesome loved everything we had……the young waitress who has a sore finger was just so lovely, the best waitress ever 🤍🤍🤍

I had high hops for this restaurant because so many people told me to go there. 3 starts to low but they dont have 3.5 stars 4 is to hight.

I found the scallops didnt have much garlic was more like a plain butter.

The oysters where ok but one tasted really awful.

The balmain bugs where a little chewy. I habent had fresh but im guession it should be like a great lobster. It was very blend in taste.

The other dish that looks like a spring roll is chicken it was very plain too.

For the price iv had better els where. Maybe it was a bad day. Ill try it again next time i am in town and then update this review

Great tapas.

We mainly had seafood items, which were outstanding! Noticeably very fresh ingredients.
Huge shrimps, and the best calamari we’ve had in a very long time.
(so tasty and tender, perfectly seasoned)

Pricing is very reasonable, great value.

Service was outstanding, lovely people guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Would recommend a 100% 👍
