The Dispensary tries so hard but I get the impression it sometimes doesn't quite get there when it is so heavily reliant on good service. Don't get me wrong the wait staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, but english often being the second language and small errors with the kitchen made us receive our first meal cold. Thankfully it was lamb and still very editable, but the small piece that was still warm was even more palatable. Our second dish was the roasted cauliflower and didn't disappoint. I recommend a visit to The Dispensary

Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff. Stopped in for lunch and ordered burger and it came with chips. Nice presentation and tasted great. I asked for tomato sauce for my chips and was told I would be charged $2 for small dish of sauce. What is that about? It’s standard with chips to have sauce. I was offered salt and pepper but declined in case i would be charged for that too. Tough times I guess but not used to such stinginess.

Dined here tonight and it was fantastic. Had the Burrata Salad as a starter and then the Hump Day Rump Day (Wednesday) and it was absolutely delicious. Live the combination of flavours on each plate...
Service is great, really friendly and attentive but not too much.

I’ve visited this place a few times, and the service has always been exceptional. A big shout-out to James, who served our table during my last visit—he was fantastic! The food was average but the cocktails were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be returning!

In a group of 5, we sat down for breakfast. Our orders were taken when the meals were ready, and the mix-up began. Clearly, from the moment the orders were taken, the young lady should have confirmed back what we had ordered. One lady had asked for the avocado to be removed. There was a half and avocado on her plate, another lady asked for the small wrap, and she received the big wrap, not knowing this until the time of paying. She asked for milk on the side of her coffee to receive her coffee without the milk.
I ordered 2 poached eggs with fetta to be given 2 pieces of bread, no eggs, and fetta that looked like quail eggs. Our meals were sorted out, with a "so sorry." We all were understanding of the young lady.
But when I paid up for my meal, from my working out, it should have been $23. But was charged $27. I understand the busyness of a breakfast run. But I'll certainly get the next waiting staff to read back the order, and I'll work out my tally before I pay.

I had the spiced scrambled eggs with sambal and crab on toast for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! The toasted sourdough bread and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The plating was very neat and pretty. It did not disappoint. I left with a happy tummy. Definitely coming back next time.

Impeccable service, the waiters/waitresses were so attentive. The food understandably took a while as it was indeed a friday night. We had the pumpkin risotto and the beef gnocchi, with a side of chips. The pumpkin risotto was exactly as it sounds, but the pumpkin they used made the whole dish have a weird, sweet, salty taste. It's hard to describe. The beef gnocchi was a lot better. The acidity of the red wine sauce went really well with the beef and the gnocchi itself. Though, the acidity became a bit much over time. The chips were relatively basic. It felt like they were trying to make it fancy, but it really doesn't need to be. Regardless, it was good food, i think the flavours can be adjusted.
