we spent a lovely 2 nights at this amazing accommodation. definitely should be more than 5 stars! sumptuous suites. felt very pampered and very spoiled. comfy beds and wonderful pillows. gourmet breakfasts. fun and fabulous hosts. tranquil and peaceful surroundings.each suite has every possible thing you might need...and then some! definitely want to return and stay longer to enjoy everything that is offered. best accommodation we have ever stayed at! love love loved it.

Couldn’t be better!! We were welcomed warmly and felt at home immediately. Our rainforest suite was absolute luxury. Immaculate in every way with the comfiest bed ever. Pool was great and could never tire of the view in every direction. Perfectly dark and peaceful at night for fantastic sleeps.

Both breakfasts were different, healthy, hearty and delicious and were such a beautiful way to start the day. The hosts were fantastic and we also enjoyed their company immensely.

Had a lot of fun for our stay and felt very rejuvenated when leaving.

This is an incredibly special place and without doubt will be returning regularly. 5+ star stay easily and can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Country House at Hunchy, Having never stayed at an B&B before, we didn’t know what to expect! But from when we arrived we were treated to a great stay.|Karin and Paul looked after us beautifully. The Bottlebrush suite was a large room and very well appointed with everything you needed. When it comes to the meals. Wow is all you can say, each meal was cooked perfectly by Karin and served beautifully by Paul. |Thank you both for your lovely stay

It was an absolute pleasure staying at the beautiful Bottlebrush suite. The room was impeccably clean and provided everything we needed plus more. The hosts went above and beyond with the food, drinks and service. What can I say … A five star property with five star service. With the help of Terri & Teresa our weekend getaway was just PERFECT!!

The Country House is extra special in every department. The spacious accommodation in a lovely rainforest setting , the delicious food and the delightful hosts combine to make a stay here extra special. Karin and Paul focus on the needs of their guests throughout your stay without interrupting your private experience. Karin's food is fantastic right from the beautifully crafted varied breakfasts to the dinner options. My dinner favourites were the cold seafood platter, the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and the antipasto platter. All memorable. Four days was not long enough.

Words can’t describe this amazing retreat. The beautifully presented suite, the gardens and the lounge areas were all immaculate. Karin’s breakfasts were absolutely delicious with such generous servings. We ate in as we were celebrating a special anniversary and the meals were presented perfectly and as good as any top class restaurant. From the moment we arrived until the time we left (after 3 days) we were treated to first class hospitality. Thank you Karin & Paul

We had such a wonderful time here where we stayed for 4 nights, and it was beautiful. The attention to detail by Karin and Paul was amazing.||The three course breakfast each day was brilliant and changed each day.||Visually, each plate was a work of art and the evening meals were exceptional. They were cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. We can strongly recommend the roast dinner and the delightful prawn stack as well as the Moreton Bay bugs, but no breakfast or evening meal disappointed; all had a wow factor and I would have been embarrassed not to have cleared my plate!||It was Nikki's 60th birthday and Karin and Paul made our stay even more special by presenting Nikki with beautiful roses and a home made (of course!) cake. Paul and Karin were the perfect hosts, enabling us to have such a relaxing time in their 5* home. We shall definately return.||Thankyou Paul & Karin
