Location was absolutely beautiful. The small quaint cottage was very homey and cosy. We were welcomed by a little 4 legged escort to our room and even wanted to take the car for a spin. Has all the essentials and was the best touch to feed the local birds from our veranda with the bird seed provided. For a simple cosy get away this is the perfect place. Easy communication from the owners made for a stress free stay.

My daughters and I enjoyed a two night stay. It was topped off with a wood fire and an incredibly friendly Russian Blue cat that made its self at home with us for a few hours at night. Great villa, perfect for what we needed.
The hosts were very accommodating and great with their communication.
We will be back for sure

Beautiful location well appointed with everything you need. Privacy . Cleanliness
Lovely touches such as woodburner with cut logs for a lovely evening by the fire . Conveniently located within minutes to shops and attractions.
Also some beautiful and very well cared for paddocks mature trees and lawns in view of the property .

When you book a 2 bedroom place on holiday you expect a 2 bedroom place, but when we arrived and opened up the front door to be faced with a bed right in front of us, well we weren’t impressed at all, only having 1 bedroom and the other double bed basically in the lounge room wasn’t ideal. But we made it work. The location was great and the view was beautiful setting.

Best way to get away from it all, just 50 minutes drive from Gold Coasts hustle and bustle.
The property itself is stunning. The new owners Sianne and Jarrad are heavily invested in making every occupants stay, exceptionally peaceful, and memorable.
The animals were the unexpected touch that really lifted the level of our stay.
Its the small things like seed for the birds who drop by throughout the day, to the warm comfort of the cottages.
We stayed in the ‘honeymooners’ cottage, Cassowary, and it was the quaintness that really made it. One space. All amenities you need.
Definitely coming back for longer.
Ooh…and its just 4 minutes in the car to IGA and nearest cafe’s, but miles from life's distractions.

We loved our weekend getaway at The Cottages. The place had all the essentials, very clean, cozy and the fireplace, supplied with all the firewood one could ever need, made it even more special. The mornings were the best part of the day: waking up to sounds of birds chirping and a sight of llamas, goats and horses! As hosts, Sianne and Jarrad were just wonderful.
