I really liked my two stays in this hotel. It is fun and unique with street art inspired rooms without it feeling like a gimmick. The beds are comfy! Truly comfortable - among the best hotel mattresses and bedding. The rooms are small, typical to any city hotel, but well laid out with a good-sized bathroom.

The two staff members (Billy and unfortunately I do not know the name of the front desk receptionist - she was lovely) were helpful, friendly, informative. Rooms come with a small fridge, kettle, and good tea selection.

It is out of the direct city centre, but I enjoyed being in the Fortitude Valley neighborhood and walking clear across the city was about 40 minutes. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Very disappointed overall. As others mentioned, the air conditioning is horrible, I set it to 21 and it never went under 26. On top of that, the mini fridge didn’t really keep anything cold and was really hot on the outside, making the room hotter. So you’re dealing with a hot room and warm drinks.

The rooms were pretty dated, lots of peeling and chipped paint and I noticed a lot of dust when I checked in however it looked like the maid cleaned that after the first night.

The bathrooms were atrocious, there’s no room to put toothbrushes and other things, and the shower had a curtain that only covered like 3/4ths of the area. There was also a really bad urine smell the whole stay, not sure why.

Some of the staff were nice but the person I checked in with was not helpful. No explanation of the hotel amenities (if there are any) or surrounding area.

The artwork was pretty cool, but it’s not something that really added value for me personally. The location was a good spot, lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Despite that, I’m giving 1 star because I thought it was a very poor guest experience and cannot recommend anyone stay here. I would not stay here again.

Really worth the value venue, with everything fit for the price you pay. A pure accommodation/stay venue, no food and amenities, but very apt for the purpose. The street art on the walls and interiors are quite impressive. The blackout blinds in the rooms are impeccable and very artistic overall. Rooms are compact sized, but fit for a short stay. Staff are quite friendly and helpful.

What a funky great venue, first time here and will be back. Great artwork everywhere, so much to see. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, not huge but good enough. Blackout blinds are great. Great location and close to the main parts of the valley. Cheap overnight parking for 17 bucks. Just a cool place to stay.

The beds!! It’s lucky we had so much to do otherwise we would not have left the room these beds were HEAVEN! Had us lifting the linen just to find a label to get one for ourselves. Loved duck across to Winn Lane for coffee in the morning, strolling up to JustinLane pizza and the Osbourne Hotel every evening right next door. Thank you so much Billy and team from The Constance x

I liked how arty and different the Hotel was. It's a great concept. The staff were lovely, and friendly. They helped us organise parking.|It is a small walk to the nearest mall with food, clubs, music hall. It was a fantastic experience we will stay again.

Horrible experience staying here. Had not long check into the Hotel drop my bag off and pop out to grab some lunch. Come back can’t access my room anymore. Go downstairs to reception only to find out they’ve put me in the wrong room. Reception lady comes up to the room with me to try get my stuff back. Room is occupied and she tells me the guy in this room is a regular he checks out at 4 pm. I’m like I’m not waiting till then.

I tell her my bag with all my clothes, medical stuff, phone charger and water is all in there, i don’t want my stuff to be stolen. Get told if that’s the case they’ll notify the Police if that happens. That ain’t good enough this is an invasion of privacy and safety protocol breach when i first went into this room there was nothing in there to indicate someone else was staying there. It was an empty room this has a caused me a great deal of unwanted stress, anxiety and panic. Of the carelessness of this hotel right before having to go to a concert tonight. Not impressed at all and won’t ever be staying here again. All i was offered was a bottle of water.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was pretty disappointing. When we checked in, the air conditioning was set to 26°C, and we couldn’t change it ourselves. We mentioned it to reception, but while the room felt okay when we returned after our evening out, it was sweltering again by the middle of the night. The temperature rose back to 26°C, making it really uncomfortable. The lobby was also uncomfortably hot, which didn’t give a great first impression either.

The hotel itself feels very basic—no minibar, no water in the room, nothing really to make the stay comfortable. The whole "street art hotel" concept feels more like a gimmick to distract from the lack of real amenities or service.

When we checked out, we hoped to leave our bags for an hour and also alert staff to the airconditioning problem again, but the reception was completely unmanned. We called for help, but no one answered, and there was no staff in sight.

Overall, I was really disappointed, and for what we got, I think it’s overpriced. I did email the hotel the next day to alert them to these issues but have not received a response,
