We went with a party of 8 Saturday night, ordered in 2 groups (3 & 5).. the first meals to come out (3) were great! The second lot (5) took an hour to come out. 4 of the 5 meals were terrible! Chicken so dry you couldn’t cut it, the prawns on top were stone cold. Steak was leather! Again, couldn’t cut it! Crumbed lamb chops couldn’t be eaten, so tough you couldn’t pull
It from the bone! Kids cheese burger was cold in the middle! We were so disappointed 😞 Went there in December and the food was delicious… I don’t know what has happened in 6-7 weeks but we definitely need not be returning.. What a shame….

We ate here and didn’t get served for over an hour. Wouldn’t have been an issue if the large groups of people who arrived 20minutes + later than us weren’t all getting served before us. We cancelled our order after an hour wait and didn’t get refunded the full amount.

What is expected from country pub however, the food is such a let down. Calamari that felt like i was chewing on my truck tyre that i just blew and $29 for a half cut chicken breast that was fatty and both our meals were cold. Real let down after a 12 hour shift.

Easy access from Greyhound bus stop. Room was good, although, since my room didn't have a window, I would've appreciated a bedside lamp or something similar. The main light was very harsh at 7 am! Helpful staff stored my luggage for the morning for free 🙂

I stayed 2 months in this motel. Everything was acceptable, until they decided to steal me 300$. And they did the same thing to several of my friends.

I was working in Chinchilla and spending thousand of dollar every week to stay here. When Commercial Motel steal me 300$, I came directly to the owner. This is her explanation : "we never received your payment (via booking) so we try to took everything we can on your bank account". I showed her the proof that I already paid her, on my phone and on HER COMPUTER, she understood her mistake, and because she understand she was wrong she just yelled me that if I'm not happy, I should leave directly.
Booking contacted her several times, she ignored everything.

I would love to say that it's a mistake, but it's not. My 1st friend lost 200$ 2 weeks after me, same operation. My 2nd friend lost 350$ 2 days after, same operation.

If you are obligated to stay in this motel, pay directly with them, don't use booking, they will keep your card details. Don't give them the opportunity to steal your money, they will do it.

Dropped by for lunch. Pleasantly surprised with the food quality. Dining area on the deck is also good for groups. Definitely will return.
