Stayed in Coffs for 3 days and this was first stop for dinner. Pub and beer garden look great with decent atmosphere for a Monday night.

Service at the bistro was very friendly. Unfortunately something went wrong with my order and I waited over an hour. The girl serving saw me and realised something was not right and then expedited the order and was apologetic. Without this service the experience would have been ordinary.

Food was okay - simple steak but a little rarer than ordered, but given it seemed rushed I can understand why. I will give them the benefit of doubt and try again if I pass through again!

ate at the bistro for my birthday.
food was cold, steaks were cooked incorrectly, the music was incredibly loud, i had to wear earplugs.
if you need a seat that’s cushioned like i do for my chronic pain, your only option are the inside seats that are bars positioned up against the wall and are quite hard to get into.
the chips were good though.

Service staff really nice.
Had a ‘rare’ steak that looked like it was shown a grill from 3.5 metres away, chef had a crack about me requesting it actually go in and touch the metal. Wouldn’t recommend.

Bed was very uncomfortable mattress could feel the springs while lying down.

Young blonde girl in restaurant serving behind the counter was very rude. Bad attitude towards her work and treated me unfairly.

Location was perfect.

Maybe it's me, but I feel that the place is lacking the atmosphere, very plain decor. Food was very tasty, and the Guinness was quite decent, which is unusual for Australia.

If you are a non alcoholic person, I will never recommend this place. In there rooms, there is only the bed but not fridge, toilet and bath are shared ones and sometimes you go there and you find them very messy. But the location is close to many places. The hotel doesn’t have an onsite parking and also if you’re looking for a quiet place this one is not the one as they have a band music which goes on till 11pm.

When for dinner with a group of people. Ordered food at 6:30pm at 7:40 the buzzer when off. Went up to collect food and the person said they did not press the button. Left it until 8pm still no food so went to see the staff. They said they forgot and gave us cold food from behind the counter

The room was clean but a bit old. The bed is not the best one, but if you are doing a roadtrip is okey for one night or two. The girl bathroom it’s so cold even if you put it for warm water. Overall it’s okay as i said as place to sleep if you are doing a roadtrip.
