Everyone, be aware! !

I was CHEATED and OVERCHARGED at this place. I ordered a "Waffle Benny" for $21.90, but I was charged $27.90 for an "Eggs Bene Bacon Croissant" with a NOTE to change it to a waffle—without my consent.

Initially, I thought they had given me the wrong change but the manger checked my order and insisted they charged it correctly for the waffle, and it should be a different price from the menu.

When I realized the order was for a croissant, the manager refunded the extra charge IMMEDIATELY when I asked her why they placed the order that way!!

The manager is extremely rude and dismissive!!

I felt disrespected as a customer. I have reported this issue to the ACCC, The Coffee Club Australia and other relevant authorities.

We been here a few times now, but today you can really notice the place is run down. Seems like the menu has changed. Pancakes is fine but there's a piece of tomato added as well, husband's eggs on toast is ok, eggs is overcooked and bacon is hard and chewy. Ice latte seems too much water on it than the coffee it self. Just sad

Came here for a brunch and had high expectations as the coffee club is known for their beautiful breakfasts. We decided to try something new instead of having our usual breakfast however in the end we decided to just stick to our usual from the coffee club next time we visit and eat.

The food wasn’t horrible. We ordered a Thai noodle salad however there was very little dressing to it and was a more simple dish.

We also order a bruschetta and it was very different. It was a pesto paste with a side of rocket and a few cherry tomatoes with grilled halloumi and an egg. We weren’t expecting this but I will say that it was different for sure.

The main dish was a scrambled egg on toast with an extra hash brown. The hash brown was amazing and cooked perfectly and served very hot and fresh. It was the best thing out of our whole meal.

I didn’t try the coffee from McArthur however I do want to give this place another go as I always enjoy eating from the coffee club.

Breakfast was awful. I ordered zucchini and corn fritters. Not great. More like omelette with a bit of corn and zucchini thrown in. Looked like they were make in a machine. Poached egg wasnt cooked. Tomato relish out of a jar. Awful!! Spinach and tomato was raw. Thought it would have been cooked. No toast. Not pleasant. Won’t go there again for breakfast.

My partner and I fell ill right after eating here-Stomach craps and needing to use the bathroom.. Found a hair in my food immediately.. I don’t even understand why my plate has muchroom water and oil. Absolutely disgusting..Spent $50 on food to be so disappointed, so much fat on the bacon, had to sit there picking it off the burger so it wasn’t chewy..Such a waste of money. Ruined our date

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant with my mum and enjoy having our usual afternoon glass of champagne. Disappointed today to hear that the staff that have been rostered are not RSA qualified, therefore not being able to serve alcohol. The staff on were polite however seemed a little unsure what to do and just apologised. When the food was brought out there was a bit of confusion as to the order my friend placed , we asked for the correct order and they apologised and fixed it. Overall it was disappointing and will definitely be asking if all services offered are available next time.

Enjoyed a delicious chicken schnitzel sub with chips, with a haloumi salad bowl. They gave lots of haloumi, and the chicken schnitzel had a perfect crunch to it. Would definitely come back for more lunches!!

The girl who was serving at the front was abrupt, snappy and bordering on rude. I felt l was intruding and doing the wrong thing by taking my time to peruse the menu. I placed my order and waited. She continued to handle the till, handle money and the proceeded to go make people's juices - no washing of hands or wearing of gloves. I prayed the staff in the kitchen preparing my order had better food handling practices ?
Took my order, went back to the office, opened it, the tomatoes and feta that were supposed to be on top of the smash avo were by the side of the toast, so I re constructed that but had no hope with the dukkah as instead of being sprinkled on top, it was all at the bottom of the take away container. Not worth the 13 odd dollars I payed for it.
