Enjoyed an excellent Sunday afternoon meal in the dining room. Extensive menu well beyond the usual pub fair. Well-cooked and very generous meal sizes.

Just called in for a feed and was told the menu was new. I had the curry and my wife had the chowder. Both excellent. Couldn’t fault them. The staff were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Had an awesome dinner. Thought the Lamb cutlets going to be small but these were excellent and great price for them.

Travelling through, we googled where to stop for good pub grub. We were pleasantly surprised, even though reviews were good. Daina was an excellent waitress. She looked after us perfectly! The food was superb! Fresh, tasty, and generous portions served in a pristinely clean environment. We will be back next time we are travelling through.

main meal came out stone cold, gravy on the side was also cold, I asked for it to be heated, 8 minutes later I went up and asked for another one as I hadn’t got my original one back. They gave me another, it was colder than the first! meanwhile my other friends waited another 20 mins longer for their meals to come inc their kids meal. Staff were… not great. I’d never go back here to be honest. Wish we had of went somewhere else. Friends food was oily and didn’t even get eaten.

We only went in for a meal.
The dining area is in a section separated from the main bar. Tastefully decorated and lots of seating.
Food was delicious and fresh.
Thought we were hungrier than we were so had an entree and main which was way too much. An entree each and a shared main would have been plenty.
I had garlic prawns, 6 huge king prawns on a bed of rice with some shredded carrot and a bowl of like aioli which wasn’t really needed. So fresh and cooked to perfection. Then a rectangle shaped seafood pizza served on a wooden board it just needed to be cooked a little longer as it was a little soft and limpish. Other than that delicious. Had to get most of it packed in a box because I ordered too much.
My Hubbie had 6 chicken wings with a choice of 3 sauces he had the honey soy then had the main of s&p calamari with fries and a small salad. The calamari pieces were quite large and I was surprised they were so tender.
Will be going back again once we move here in July to try a different meal next time it was

Got the lunch steak and less than 50% was edible. Loaded with gristle and fat. Got the feeling they have a lot of complaints as the servers said 'no that's ok, sorry about that' when I said I really didn't enjoy it. Defo try Plantation instead!
