We made an impromptu visit to Clifton for a wander around the markets and stumbled upon this great little pub. It offers true country hospitality with a nice atmosphere. We had the bangers and mash and I must say, it was the best bangers and mash I have had anywhere. I will definitely call in again next time I’m in Clifton.

Had lunch here on Christmas eve as part of a package deal with Southern Downs railway. The pub is nice, publican lovely but meal was VERY ordinary ! Looked like a child had put it together, small thin slice of ham and a chicken wing, bit of weard salad and last nights left over potatoe. Pavlova and weard hard tin fruit 😝

Not good at all. Disappointing !

Only pink stuff and no food!!! Another pub saying U have to buy your food at food works and cook it yourself and we only sell alcohol and tab and keno tickets!!! Another pub with alcohol but no food!!! ONLY IN CLIFTION QLD!!! DRIVE PAST UBLESS STAY AT SHOWGROUND GOID PLACE TO REST WITH THE SOULS BUT COOK YASELF !!!

A great accidental discovery, stopped in for a quock bite with no great expectations. Found service to be terrific, ordered from menu that to my wifes delight had something out of the ordinary for someone who does not eat red meat, seafood crepe, I indulged my carnivore to a t bone, simple but perfect on both counts. Far exceeded our expectations.

Had a Burger which was dry, over cooked. Beef patty was burnt. Bread burnt. Didn't bother with the chips.
