The check in was as efficient as it could be, as there was a huge group of us.|The hotel room was clean and tidy, except for some rubbish on the bathroom sink, and the milk was already opened. |We were on a 6 night stay, and although we didn’t expect daily housekeeping, we thought we’d get it at least once.|We were expected to wash the hotel towels at our own expense, and empty the rubbish bins, and dispose of it in the skips downstairs.|The water took sometimes 10-15 mins to get off cold, for a shower.|The pool was great, air conditioning fully functioning, double safety-locked, door access to the rooms. The bed was really comfortable.|Pleasant stay, but won’t return.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Booked 4 months in advance for a Christmas Eve check-in, but received an email the day before stating they were overbooked due to a 'system malfunction'. Offered 2 hotel rooms at a discount instead of the 2-bedroom apartment I booked for my family of 4.

What's appalling is that they had FOUR MONTHS to notice the overbooking, but chose to notify us only the day before. The customer service was equally shocking - zero remorse, zero apology, and a completely nonchalant attitude.

To add insult to injury, the manager followed up with an email that was utterly tone-deaf. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, they simply attached an invoice with "proof of refund". Not a single word of regret or apology for the inconvenience they caused, especially on the eve of Christmas.

As a hospitality industry professional myself, I'm horrified by the lack of concern and terrible service recovery. Don't risk your stay here, especially during peak seasons. Terrible management and service. One star is even too generous.

Great location, whole place needs maintenance - an undeniable touch of Fawlty Towers to the property. Pool was closed but to be fixed the day we arrived - 5 days later still not fixed/open. One of the staff told us it had been shut for ‘a while’. We got fresh towels every day - even Xmas Day! Beds were made and rubbish removed. Kitchen was lean on crockery and cooking tools but workable. We had to ask for more toilet paper, dish detergent, wiping cloths - but staff were always pleasant and obliging. We had a 2-bedroom apartment with a huge balcony. The glass was shattered in the sliding door with clear contact holding it together - we wondered how long it had been like this. Location is great - right next door to Chermside Westfield. And we had family in the area so suited us. Has secure parking and a great Indian restaurant downstairs.

I have been to The Chermside Apartments before and it was value for money. This time was the worst experience. It was filthy inside and out, there was no housekeeping at all for our 3 days, pool was closed over xmas, for maintenance (really)!. Hairdryer had a 2 pin (overseas) plug. A security deposit was taken from a different account than the one I had fully paid the stay for and has not been returned. I have contacted them several times by email and by phone with no replies or return of the security deposit. Don't go this place. You will be severely sorry for the experience.

This place is disgusting and dirty. Tried many emails about our stay no one replies. The police turned up with the fire service the morning we checked out. A young man had been screaming all night contacted the after hours number as well. The place had a terrible smell. Dirty bathrooms and apartments and balconies smelt like urine. No breakfast as advertised just an apple and an orange. Or as they call it a grab and go. Very expensive for the amount we paid. Also no parking as advertised. Do your self a favour don’t book here.

We arrived in Brisbane early but couldn't access our room until the set time, as it was being checked over. I immediately noticed mould on the front door, and once inside, the room smelled musty, as if it hadn't been aired recently.||Upon further inspection, I found several issues:||There was a layer of dust on the bedhead and long dust webs under the bed.||In the kitchenette, the toaster was dirty and had crumbs underneath when I moved it. Under the sink looked like it hadn't been touched in ages.||In the bathroom, the light over the mirror didn't work, and there was no plug.||Despite mentioning the problems in the bathroom, nothing was done. We stayed for three nights without fresh towels or additional coffee and tea, as no one from housekeeping approached us.||While we had an undercover car park, there was no security for my car or the apartment, making my son feel unsafe in the room.||The pool was green. When I mentioned this, I was told it was safe to use, but then the pool was shut, suggesting it wasn't safe after all.||The photos are very misleading, making the rooms look spacious. Our room was a good size but had only a small cupboard. Everything else, including suitcases and shoes, had to be placed on the floor.

Booked in with daily cleaning services but didnt got the service daily. Oven is filthy, rangehood light doesnt work and dishwasher too. There is cockroach, spider and other types of bug in the room. Despite of having reserved parking space it’s alsways taken by others.
Feee breakfast comes with rotten fruits and expired jam and butter.
This place is absolute no go place even if it’s for free.

Had to find a place for a couple of nights last min, and they were the cheapest option which included a private bathroom.

Room was adequately clean, although I didn’t move anything and noticed some dust down the sides. Bed was very comfy too. Service was lovely and employees were happy to help.

Location is excellent with Westfields a 5 min walk away and McDonald’s literally next door. Cannot complain at all really.
