I’d dreamed about getting married at The Chapel Montville since first setting eyes on it as a teenager! So, our wedding at this exceptionally beautiful venue was a dream come true for me, and exceeded the expectations of my husband and I in every way. The stunning and unique architecture of The Chapel, combined with the incredible view (even with some rain!) was a highlight for everyone in attendance.
What truly sets The Chapel Montville apart, however, is its incredibly friendly and attentive staff. From our initial inquiry to the final moments of our wedding day, the team at The Chapel went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of with utmost care and precision. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making our day as special and seamless as possible. Thank you to Jasmin and her wonderful team for making our wedding the perfect day xx

Incredible location with phenomenal views. Food was superb, staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, albeit difficult to get a hold of leading up to the wedding. They were also very accommodating with the Covid situation and how hard it was to plan for international and interstate guests that, in the end, were not able to make it.
Only thing to note is that you have to be very specific with the staff beforehand. We had some dietary requirements missed and the bar tab was opened early so it had been used up before the bridal party even made an entrance

What a gorgeous little chapel for a wedding ceremony. Stunning building renovation with lovely details. Positioned with a glorious backdrop.
Superb photo opportunities & private parking on-site. Reception could be held in the same location, a real plus.

I had an appointment at this chapel in Montville on Saturday, August 10th at 3:30 PM. When I arrived, the gates were locked, and there was no one there to assist me. I called three times, left a voicemail, sent two emails, and received no response. It’s now Monday evening, and I haven’t received any apology or explanation for what happened.

I canceled a work shift to visit the chapel, and my partner did the same. We drove 2.5 hours each way from Gold Coast, so we spent 5 hours driving in total, wasting our time, money on gas, and missing out on earnings. I felt completely disrespected by this lack of commitment and professionalism.

I had initially intended to book this venue for my wedding, but after this experience, I would be afraid they’d forget my wedding day altogether and I’d be left staring at a locked gate again. I do not recommend this chapel—my experience was terrible. I was so excited to visit, but after this, even with a good discount, I wouldn’t trust them with such an important day.

Exquisite, hand crafted Chapel atop of Montville grandly overseeing the entire Sunshine Coast. The back of this Chapel is glass panels pouring light into the chapel and overlooking the amazing view.
As a celebrant on the Sunshine Coast I have the privilege of visiting all of the wedding venues and this one, is totally breathtaking.
It has to be seen to be appreciated.
Wedding guests are seated in air-conditioned comfort with perfect acoustics... the feeling is intimate and elegant with a warmth and beauty befitting a chic wedding.
The Chapel, reception (amazing), photographers dream views and accomodation all in one location... I love this Chapel, it's staff and the Poets Reception.. <3 100 stars... :)
