The Chapel is furnished with unique decor to suit the building. There are tasteful touches to create a consistent feel, eg toiletries in the bathroom were presented in an older style, crockery was a bit fancy, microwave and fridge were behind a door. The bed was firm for our taste, but we loved the house and garden.

Beautiful little place to stay in a gorgeous little town. People were amazing here and some lovely little cafes and bakeries. Chapel had charm and comfort, beautiful fireplace, bed maybe could have been a touch longer 🤣 Note to self, the Empire maybe isn't the best place for dinner, pretty ordinary and not priced to match the ordinary food.

What a place..the cutest wee house. It was like playing in adolls house. With the woodstove fully on..plenty of big logs..snug as a bug!! Lovely 2 days memory. Deelish breakfast. All the antiquities? Just gorgeous
