Check in is at the bar. Quick and easy. Food at the bar is pretty good, basic pub fare. I ordered a steak medium rare but it was way overcooked, mostly grey except the very innermost part with a hint of pink. It was actually pretty good and preferable to under-done. Veggies and mash were pretty good too. Second time here. The rooms are uninviting, stark and with embedded mold and grime. Blacked out windows with rolled on black paint and strangely mirrors everywhere... Felt like I needed to wear sandals in the shower. Inadequate stocks of coffee and sugar. Parking area was inundated with water that never dried out even after several days. Not that it mattered, someone else was parked in the spot anyway, so I had to find something further afield. Not all negative, the sheets were clean and the bed comfortable but at places like these I try not to look too carefully. To be frank, I'd probably just sleep in my car next time rather than stay here and I frequently stay at mining camp accommodation so that's a low bar to get over and this place doesn't really cut it. Don't bother unless you're desperate, then prepare and arrive with low expectations. This place is rated three stars, I would love to see what is a one star place if such a thing exists.

The kitchen team and drivers always put out fantastic quality food, delivered on time and always correct. Excellent service for the town. Even the ordering system is nice and streamlined.

All ways a good stay! But on this occasion the power went off at 4.30 and still off at 8.30 when I checked out ! No aircon and no coffee! No fault of motel, completely out of their control! It is what it is! I’ll shall return!!

They have a free courtesy bus to get you from home to the pub and back. Great service, reasonably priced beers and cheap cocktails. The dart machine was fun too.
