An evening with a few old friends at the Bun was made better with the atmosphere, food and service we received for our group. Steaks were very good and well cooked, lots of beer and cheer with other groups and locals also enjoying the unique location. It was a stopover on our way back to Dalby from a Bunya mountains walk. The BEST little place to stop in for some country hospitality, food and a cold bevvy. Being the drinks snob I am (I’m the first to admit) I was pleasantly surprised to find The Bun serving Tanqueray gin and a lovely selection of wines. The food was brilliant - so good we not only had lunch but went back to sample their pizzas for dinner. The schnitty for lunch was a huge breast fresh and tender. The pizzas 👌🏼 and the brisket spring rolls omg!!!! Stayed in the campground next door. Will definitely be back!

We came for lunch after hearing wonderful things about their food and we were not disappointed. This wonderful little hidden gem has a sensational menu. Over half the menu is available in a gluten free option. Every dish we ordered was a flavour explosion and all for an affordable price. The service was just the friendliest warm hospitality - impeccable. This is hands down the best place to eat on the Western Downs. Forget all the other places you like to go and just go to the Bun Pub, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Dalby. First time back there for nearly six years & were disappointed that the truck front had been removed from the wall however the renovations and three separate dining areas were delightful. Clean, bright and relaxing. The menu had a good variety - we had Wagyu Beef spring rolls, calamari and chips - beautifully cooked and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, making us feel quite welcome.

Beautiful food! Drove in from Dalby and had the American Cheeseburger. Absolutely delicious. Also had the wagyu spring rolls, they were one of the best things I've ever tasted. Wish I could give it more stars but the whole experience was amazing! Will be back!

This beautiful old pub is a MUST to stop at when you are passing through Kaimkillenbun. We wish we had stopped in there sooner than what we did. Friendly, courteous staff and meals that are absolutely mouth watering and at a decent price. The live entertainment is worth booking a room for and staying overnight so you can throw a few down if you wish. Beautiful atmosphere and everything you could possibly want in a country pub and more. Fantastic atmosphere and great people. Have a chat with the salt of the earth locals and take a designated driver cause U will want to stay for a few cold ones- guaranteed.

Had a one night stay and will definitely be back to this little oasis in the middle of open country..
Considering the hotel is over 100 years old, the rooms are very good. Warm, inviting, comfortable and clean.
We were made to feel very welcome and the service was great. Made even better by the friendly locals who clearly luv a chat and a drink.
And make sure you stay for a meal. Outstanding quality, local fare and great variety.
