Absolutely loved having our wedding here! Milos and Maddie were so accomodating and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. The barn area is just magical for a reception, especially with the lighting that Milos put up! We loved that we could put our own spin on things too. The Brae, Milos and Maddie truly made our wedding day into something special with their wonderful venue and hospitality. We recently got married at the Brae and it was honestly the best day ever. Maddie and Milos were so communicative throughout the entire process, they were very excited for all our ideas and helped us put together our dream wedding weekend with chillness and ease! We had so much fun setting up the venue with our friends, playing music and having a dance throughout! Our wedding night ran so smoothly and Maddie and Milos were so relaxed and helpful throughout the evening. We had glamping tents running along the creek at the Brae for those overnight guests, which was honestly such an amazing experience for so many guests, and it allowed us to put on a relaxed breakfast the next morning to reflect on the night before! The DIY at the Brae was fantastic as it felt so personalised on the day, reflecting us as a couple with our personalised decorations and ideas!
We can't thank Milos and Maddie enough for all their help and we couldn't think of a better venue to get married at!

The Brae, Milos and Maddie really made our wedding day ultra special . We got married at the Brae 3 years ago, and formed such wonderful memories with close family and friends in the stunning venue. The barn was the perfect place for the reception, and bulb lighting really made the effects of the evening cosy and beautiful. It’s a perfect place for a DIY wedding with lots of variations to styles, and budgets. The beautiful surroundings make the venue a million dollars which wouldn’t require much need for over the top decor , as the vibe and natural beauty fills those gaps. The Airbnb on the property was also a massive win, as we didn’t have to travel anywhere and were able to wake up to the fresh air of Dawesley and appreciate the beauty the next day. Milos and Maddie were also great to work with- friendly; great with communication; accommodating and flexible- and made you feel like family like the good old European way. Highly recommend the Brae for your wedding , as it won’t disappoint !

We love Milos and Maddie!!!
Not only was the venue stunning with heaps of options for both indoor and outdoor backdrops, but they were both super welcoming and easy to work with! They really made sure to help us wherever we needed it.

We got married in May and it was freezing but everyone was sheltered and the atmosphere was pumping for a great celebration!

Couldn’t recommend here enough. The views. The animal friends. The wonderful hosts. Everything you need and more!!

My husband and I got married at the Brae and it was beyond amazing! I couldn't have found a better venue to accommodate over 150 people. Milos and Maddie were great to deal with and were even working the night before to get shade up ready for our special day.

We got married at The Brae on 12/04/2025 and had the most perfect day! The venue is stunning in every way. Rustic, charming, has great facilities and Milos and Maddie were so helpful and open to working with us about how we wanted our day. We set up the venue how we wanted in terms of decor, and had an 8 piece Irish band play! It was the perfect venue for a big party in terms of the size of the Long Barn (we had 91 guests) and the atmosphere the Barn creates. We had the best day! Heather and David

Our daughter and son-in-law recently had their wedding and reception at The Brae. The setting is stunning and perfect for anyone wanting a rustic theme. Maddie and Milos were so helpful, accommodating and supportive both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day.
