My partner and I go for dinner here at least once a month usually more, the staff are lovely, super sweet to our daughter, amazing to us, very fast and the food is absolutely to die for, highly recommend!!

I attempted to place a take away order at 5.45 p.m and was advised that only members orders were being taken until 7 p.m. I advised the staff member on the phone that I was a member and was told NO abruptly. The is the 2nd time that this has occurred to me and I will be cancelling my membership as I did not become a member to be treated in this rude manner. I ended up at the Allies Hotel and received a superior meal and customer service.

Had a nice Parma here on the weekend. But, what I thought was a simple request ended up costing me $7 extra. Swap chips for mash, no had to pay for the mash side, even though several dishes had the mash. My meal included two standard sides…..? Anyway, paid for “creamy mash” only to be given a bowl of very dry non creamy mash. Possibly a training issue, but really simple request……so I thought. Have been able to do elsewhere with no issue.

The food here was extremely good. Had a steak and chips, which was listed as a 350g porterhouse. What came out looked and felt like 500g, and it was a great cut of meat, cooked spot on. The salad and chips complimented the steak nicely. Service was fast and efficient, and the staff taking our order was kind and keen to assist how they could. For a Thursday evening, there weren't as many people as I imagined, and the premises was deceivingly smaller than how the outside looked. I would recommend this pub for a nice meal with the family and friends.

Brilliant, food was delicious and all of our table enjoyed their meals, but the gentleman host was so attentive and considerate, he was helpful and noticed the sun on my mums glasses shortly after we sat down and came over to close the blinds for her then later notice she only ate half her meal and offered a container to take the rest home, he was just as helpful and attentive to the other tables I saw. Great night, 10/10 and would happily go back or recommend to others.
