Host nice and welcoming. House was dirty, dust on the floors so clearly hasn't being vacuum lately, water sitting under food crisper in fridge so water kept coming out when using fridge. Single begs on wheels - as soon as kids went to sit on it they moved which can be dangerous. Wheel chair shower flooded the whole bathroom and wet all clothes and towels on floor. Water pressure good but because of the pressure it would shoot out onto the floors when turning it on. We didn't get told the hot water had run out of gas until we all went to shower and wondered why it wasn't working which alot of people having to shower before a wedding it was a very inconvenient and we had to change the gas bottle to a spare one for her. Tv was an old plasma tv so you had to be face on to watch. Swing ball broken so we had to keep fixing it every few hits.

We rent all four rooms for a family Christmas holiday and had an absolutely fabulous time. Belinda and Joe are perfect hosts and nothing was too much. Lively location on the water with superb sunsets. Extreme comfortable, very quiet, except for New Years Eve. |We highly recommend it to anyone want a wonderful relaxing time.

Would like to point out that the low rating is due to how we were treated.

I simply had a couple of questions regarding the menu and was treated as if I was an inconvenience, when I choose to pay $36 for fried cauliflower I feel as though I can ask the questions I need to about the food I will be eating.

The young staff members were kind enough to answer but the older lady with blonde hair was unkind and treated me poorly.

What a beautiful island - appears to be a well kept secret. Having caught the barge across to this beautiful island we made our way to The Boathouse Bed and Breakfast. Lovely welcome from a gentle owner, Belinda. ||The spacious double rooms have en suite bathrooms. Meals lounge room in the centre with access to the patio outside. Walk through the garden to the bay at the rear. ||We were welcome with fresh muffins. Breakfast was had out in the garden. A haven I look forward to staying at again. Thanks Belinda

What an amazing holiday house this is heaps of room for the whole extended family, all four large bedrooms have there own bathrooms, 7 of us stayed over the christmas period & loved it the owners were incredibly helpful & helped with any request big & small, loved taking the kayaks out & relaxing on the beautiful deck, great value for money, only think that we found a bit of a pain is we didn't take a car & if you want anything from the shops it is a bit of a distance walking or biking
