I saw White Sun last night. An absolute tour de force by Wil, the solo performer. A mesmeric odyssey covering a few centuries of his family’s evolution based in Liverpool blended with a fascinating, subtle peep at David Garrick’s career as an 18th century actor and playwright. All told both verbally and with interpretive dance. Stunning, stunning, stunning.

From what I hear the place is SOO much better than what it was. Their growth as a WA theatre institution should be celebrated.

Saw a fantastic play here last night! "Same Time Next Week" - about a group of friends who get together and play D& D! Unfortunately one friend has been diagnosed with Leukemia... The play is a wonderful mix of acting ( the actors were fabulous), puppetry (awesome puppets), songs (it is a semi-musical) & spectacle!! Definite MUST SEE!

Seeing Where Water Once Was, on at The Blue Room…I had a great experience. Lovely, ambient, intimate kind of place with different independent, excellent plays on for every one. The bar is very quaint but provides a good range of drinks with a happy and helpful bar man Matt. Receptionist lovely too. This place is in a great spot with easy access to parking that after 6pm is free in the big underground parking under the State Library Theatre. There’s plenty of places around to eat, vegan, Indian, pretzels 27/7 convenience shops and sushi. The place was just right in temperature too with it being rather cold outside. Love this theatre ❤️🙏🏻 in the heart of Northbridge

What an incredible group of people. The theatre has always been about expressing your opinion in a different way when all other avenues are blocked. These people will not be silenced whatever the outcome and are following the tradition of theatre throughout the ages.

This place has grown into a gorgeous space for new theatre works and lesser known artists. Lovely little bar inside, and the building has kept its original character. They also still support innovative performances that try something new like The Lion Never Sleeps, an audio performance tour of Northbridge in the 1980s during the AIDs crisis.

I love this place. Friendly staff, great venue and last night I saw a show that touched my heart so deeply. 'A lifetime of the deaf and deafblind'. Everyone should see this show, the progress that is being made for equality was beautifully showcased in this musical number. Thank you to the Blue Room for providing the platform to enable a greater awareness for our deaf and deafblind community.
