Fantastic place to relax and unwind!

The magnificent scenery of The Block Vista is augmented by the attentive yet discrete hosts Chis and Doug for whom nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean; having access to a kitchenette increases meal options, allowing you extra time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The option of having meals prepared is just an added bonus which made our first night so much easier and relaxing.
The quality of the food both for the breakfast provided and the extra evening meals was excellent.
Being able to stroll around the property and walk up to take in further views from the hill behind the B & B was an added extra which capped off the experience.
We certainly hope to return.

What a beautiful and serene accommodation ten minutes drive out of Nanango. Easy to find on google maps. Doug and Chris are marvellous hosts and provide very comfortable accommodation and breakfast is included. There is outdoor patio seating where you can relax with a cuppa/wine and enjoy the view of the neighbouring paddocks and hillsides. We highly recommend a stay here.

This B&B is just wow! The hosts Chris & Doug are the loveliest people and even though we only booked the day before we went there they still made sure we had hot delicious meals in our bellies and they purchased some wine for us as we didn't want to go back into town. The room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, amazing bedding and pillows. Fabulous bathroom, Netflix and air con/heating in the room. It has a great stocked shared kitchenette and a fully enclosed gazebo with a fireplace with views that you would never get tired of. Breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend the Block Vista and we will definitely be going there again. |AAAAAAAAAA++++++++++

We recently had a wedding at the block vista. Chris and Doug are the loveliest people, they went above and beyond what they needed to. We could not have asked for better hosts. The entire 12 months we were in contact was seamless and easy. The rooms were generous, clean and have everything you need. Food was great and so was the service. Don't forget the view, absolutely gorgeous. We will be back to stay again. Thank you Chris and Doug.

What a wonderful overnight stay!! It was so quiet and peaceful. Our room was absolutely delightful. Our breakfast was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. To top it off, our hosts, Doug and Chris, were very friendly and helpful. We won’t hesitate to call in again when travelling south. A beautiful spot.

What a fabulous stay. Chris and Doug are wonderful hosts providing exceptional hospitality. Our room was extremely comfortable with the highest quality furnishings. The provision of the fully equipped kitchenette was an added bonus. The cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The gazebo with fireplace was appreciated on a cool night. The beautiful sandstone home sits on top of a hill with the most amazing views. Thank you Chris and Doug. It was so hard to leave.

A belated review for our stay in July this year … we had a fabulous time using The Block as our base for an explore around the South Burnett. Chris and Doug were fantastic hosts and enjoying those ‘top of the hill’ views with a drink each afternoon was so relaxing.
Both the rooms and the common space were excellent and certainly cosy through those cooler nights when we were there.
The provided breakfasts were consistently great and we took up the offer of a night time meal as well and it was all delicious.

Excellent accommodation: clean, comfy room with all modern amenities, tastefully decorated, nice property with very good views, delicious breakfast and excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this B&B.
