Promise myself never have food here especially for breakfast. 6.50$ Cent each for a bread. 6$ for a coffee iced coffee.
The bread tasted super sweet and fed up. Unpleasant smell cannot eat them. The coffee is bad tested sour. The only privilege of this coffee shop is that atmosphere, some birds wandering around, lovely place.

Such a great little cafe. We pretty much always stop off at The Black Russian when we pass through Katherine.

Great coffee and delicious toasties. Pictured is half Creamy Garlic Mushroom and half Rueben (my husband and I shared). Both were really tasty.

Nice setting with outdoor seating if you don’t want to takeaway.

This is the first time we've been to this place for a meal. For breakfast, I ordered a chicken, chorizo, bacon toastie and a ham & cheese toastie for my wife. We also ordered a coffee each and a slice of the raspberry coconut vegan cake.
The staff were pleasant to engage with. The toasties were a different matter though. While the ham and cheese toastie was average, I found absolutely no chorizo in my toastie. There was chicken, bacon and cheese, but no chorizo (!?!) which was quite disappointing.
The coffee was excellent, but the cake was simply too gluggy and felt like a gelatinous goop in your mouth. The flavours were just average.
Overall, would we eat there again? Absolutely not.

Really a very good coffee. The cakes were disappointing. My wife had a carrot cake and couldn’t eat it. It was like it was raw? Or maybe just not cooked enough. The brownie was okay. My wife then bought a caramel slice which was good.

Try the Raspberry Coconut Slice and hear me out with this one: Tumeric Latte and ask for Strawberry in it!! Trust me 🤭

This is life saver if you've been in the outback for a while and not had a decent coffee. Toasties are excellent, and the best food in town. Was so good we ate here three times over two days.

A good atmosphere and location however coffee was average and I have never waited less than 20 minutes to receive the order. When I was told an iced coffee will be $12 I did not order as that is the price of two standard hot coffees and couldn’t understand why it would be that price.
